After tasting a number of Wild Turkey products at the Distillery about 10 years ago, I realized I was overlooking one of the best bourbon buys available. Their flagship Wild Turkey 101 is the quintessential bourbon that has become my go to, daily sipper. For me, the flavors and drinkability are enjoyable over one small ice cube. Wild Turkey 101 is a well rounded bourbon that is good for sipping or mixing. It is truly one of the best bourbons you can purchase and especially for the price. If you haven't tried it, I recommend you give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Plus it’s not as expensive as some other brands. My friends think I am crazy drinking it straight, if it’s not good enough to drink right out the bottle then it’s not worth drinking.

Whenever asked, what’s the most affordable Bourbon for the price I always go to wild turkey one01. I’m always pleased to have it on the Southwest Airlines flight as well. I keep a bottle on hand, even though I have some bourbons that brought a hefty price tag.

Years ago a friend said WT101 was his go to bourbon overall. I dismissed it recalling drinking it back in collage and not really liking it. I recently grabbed a bottle due to all the positive YouTube reviews. WOW was he right! Here is the deal, if WT101 shows up in a blind there is some feelings about to be hurt. WT101 consistently beats more “expensive/better” bourbons if not actually wins in blind tasting. What more could one expect ? I Always keep this in stock

This is one of my favorite bourbons. I can spend a lot more money for other bourbons but for the money this bourbon provides smoothness, finish and complexity you would expect from bourbons costing mush more. I only share this bourbon with friends and family that know and appreciate bourbon.

And, I credit it for my youthful looks and good health at age 80. I had to go 10 days without Wild Turkey 101 in 2022 in England and Scotland. Thank goodness I was able to get it in Ireland.
