[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ever since I was introduced to 101 on a tour/tasting many years ago 101 has become my My primary Bourbon. I favor it with a couple of rocks and a dash of orange bitters. Smooth, mello with a nice finish and spice overtones. On special occasions I break out the Russell 10 year old but the 101 is great for weekday sipping and it's also the best bourbon value for the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I buy a 375ml flask every Friday after work (okay, plus a couple of 50ml little guys) and get some take out before I head home and I'm good. I nurse my 101 once I'm home and it washes away all the tension from the work week....... it takes me to my happy place and I get to sleep in on Saturday so I'm rested and refreshed for the new work week.

Great easy drinking bold bourbon. Smooth with nice aromas and tastes of vanilla and Carmel. Better than anything else at its price point and can compete with other whiskies double its price. Took me 15 years of tasting different things in various price ranges before I bought a shot bottle to give the 101 a try and was very impressed. I have a large collection for guests but what I drink after the work week is 101. It’s a gem.

I love drinking wild turkey 101 it taste the same through all of every sip and every pour.Many other bourbons taste ok at first sip but have a tendency to have a heavy rye night at the end of sip . I'm not a huge fan of rye and like Wild Turkey 101 I enjoy the consistency in every pour and every bottle

The heat is just right, bringing a solid warmth that’s balanced out by a rich vanilla profile. What really stands out, though, is the smooth caramel finish—it lingers just long enough without overpowering. A go-to pour when I’m looking for something bold yet satisfyingly smooth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are many excellent Bourbons but Turkey 101 is what I choose to drink regularly. It has a slightly smokey nos that is available as you take your first sip, it has a slight cherry note but turns into a nice subtle burn at the back of the palate. These subtleties allow me to drink it neat or in a Manhatten with sweet vermouth, Peychaud's Bitters and a Luxardo Cherry. It cooperates nicely with the sweeter flavors but comes through because of its strength.

I have to say, the flavor of Wild Turkey 101 bourbon is absolutely fantastic. The mix of vanilla, caramel, and a hint of spice that hits you when you bring the glass up to your nose is truly delightful. If you're looking for a bourbon that is genuine and full of flavor, Wild Turkey 101 is definitely worth giving a try. I had heard of wild turkey 101 back in the 80s and it has only been this year that I gave finally been able to buy and actually taste it. It has that heat on the tongue and a smooth warming as you swallow. This is now one of my favourites, when I can afford to get it.

As written up in my book "The Whiskey Club Tastings". Lots of baking spice (nutmeg, clove, allspice) with caramel, vanilla, citrus, licorice, dark fruit, and sweet oak. And just added below... Now one of my go-to bourbons when I want a classic bourbon at an affordable price.

Great taste, a rich velvet feel, and a smooth finish that reminds you it's 101 proof. Mixed with ginger beer, a splash of orange juice and biiters makes an awesome mule.
