I love Wild Turkey 101. The only better whiskey to me is the more expensive higher proof version Wild Turkey Rare Breed. Forget the flavor notes. They both have a sweet whiskey smell and a sweet whiskey taste with a nice high proof. I enjoy other whiskeys as well but Wild Turkey is what I prefer most, neat or with a couple of ice cubes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wild Turkey 101 is my go to Bourbon, I have tried a lot of other brands and I mean a lot but I always come back to WT 101. My favorite way to drink it is in a Bourbon Old Fashioned, what I like about WT 101 is is holds it flavor till the last drink. I find for a high proof bourbon it is very smooth, lighter on oak and I like the spiciness the rye in the mash bill brings to it. I have now just settled on WT 101 and buy the big bottle of it I have just gotten tired of trying different bourbons. One other drink this works extremely well with is a blackberry smash I think its the rye in this bourbon that makes it work so well bourbon goes very well with blackberry. I don't think at least in my opinion there is a better bourbon for the money it will remain my favorite bourbon.

This is the Bourbon I drink almost every day. After considerable testing of other traditional Bourbon brands (not the new pop-ups or trendy brands) I have determined Wild Turkey 101 is the Bourbon for me. In fact, I prefer all the Wild Turkey Bourbons to other brands. Certainly, the best Bourbon is in the taste bud of the sipper, and Wild Turkey is absolutely the best for me. We visited the distillery in October 2024 and were able to meet Jimmy and Eddie Russell. Visiting Wild Turkey was an authentic Bourbon distillery experience. It was completely different from the experiences we had visiting other distilleries in the area. Our distillery visit just reconfirmed why I like Wild Turkey Bourbon so much.

Wild Turkey 101 is hands down the best everyday bourbon within it's price range! At its 101 proof it can be drank neat, on ice, or in a cocktail. In blind tasting test done with friends it outshines other higher priced bourbons, easily justifying it as an consistent stable on any bourbon shelf.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ever since I was introduced to 101 on a tour/tasting many years ago 101 has become my My primary Bourbon. I favor it with a couple of rocks and a dash of orange bitters. Smooth, mello with a nice finish and spice overtones. On special occasions I break out the Russell 10 year old but the 101 is great for weekday sipping and it's also the best bourbon value for the money.

This is my "go-to" and it's a GREAT value!! Smooth and flavorful for sipping on ice and not so "precious" that I feel dumb mixing it into a cocktail. My wife and I LOVE this bourbon! My only other "favorite drinking thing" is Wild Turkey American Honey (and STING when I can find it!). We are definitely fans of the Brand!
