This is a very nice set of weights with a nice progression from light to slightly heavy, for the average user interested in fitness they are nearly everything you would need, I wouldn't think a serious bodybuilder would use them but with proper use an care I can see them lasting for a very long time. I like them well enough that I have purchased them twice, I sold my first set years ago for what I gave to upgrade to more weight but I regretted getting rid of them, they are a pleasure to work with and offer such an ease of use.

I have been wanting these weights for a while. They are amazing and so easy to use. Things I didn't realize prior to opening the box: - the box is large and heavy (have help) - there is a specific way to remove them from the box -read the instructions prior to use (also where the removal instructions are)

The dumbbells are great for saving space and the convenience of being able to change the weight at the turn of the dials. The only not so good thing is that they are big and some exercises are a little awkward, because of their size. Overall I use them 3 -4 times a week and I love them. Money well spent.

I bought these bells after looking at a set of fixed weight steel dumbbells. I use a range of weights for different sets so would have had to buy a lot of fixed weight bells. I took a gamble and bought these. Have never looked back. They replace a load of fixed weight bells very well - including half pound weights which some gyms don't have. Yes they do have a price sticker shock, but compared to free weights, they are a bargain and do the job very well.

From the moment I opened the package I knew I had a great product. It is simple to adjust the weight and saves a ton of space in my workout room. I didn't want to spend a fortune to buy individual dumbbells so I knew this would have been the answer that I was looking for and I was correct. Way to go Bowflex, another quality product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bowflex dumbells are hard to find and when i found them at Walmart they were $80 off. They are so versatile and save so much space. They are a great value and you couldn't buy a full set of weights for that price anywhere else

The simplicity and versatility of these adjustable dumbbells are unlike anything I've every used in a previous workout setting. With the bow flex 552 dumbells I can now save space and money, but most importantly exercise safely because of the design and the ease of use with these dumbells. Highly recommend!!

This dumbell set is great, it saves me so much time from taking and putting weights off and on my old dumbell set. Great for isolation exercises, especially on supersets or giant sets. Saves a lot of space; I work out in one side of my basement and space is an issue. I have had these for a few weeks now, but I am already finding myself switching out barbell work whenever I can because of how easy it is use the Select Tech dumbbells. The price is perfect as I have seen these go for up to $500! Probably the perfect weight set for beginners or intermediate lifters.

Finally broke down and bought these after years of dealing with taking plates on and off and worrying about them getting loose mid workout. These are easy to adjust, very comfortable to use and good quality. Only minor issue is they are on the bulky side and you have to move their base to wherever you are working out if you plan on changing the weights, but it's very minor problem at least for me
