Amazing Tire

I have a 2006 Ford F150 FX4 and just purchased a full set of these tires. I must say they are amazing in the snow and in the rain. They ride very nice for being a more meaty tire. I would deff. buy these tires again when they need to be replaced again. GREAT job michelin!

None better

I wouldn't put my wife and kids on the Northern Michigan roads with anything less. In addition to being driven in all weather conditions and off road on the fun days, these tires are expected to pull a 22' fiberglass deep V cruiser fishing boat or 24' camper trailer, many times over 1000 miles for a trip. They do all of these without any problem. They have unbeatable traction on all road conditions and wear better than the cheapter tires I run on my work truck. If you trust this recommendation, you won't be disappointed.

MICHELIN® LTX® A/T2 265/70 17 121/118R

After 38 months and 26,000 miles, these tires are junk. Cracked @ tread/sidewall/sidewall/bead, and cracks w/bulges on sidewall. Truck has been mostly garaged, mostly highway driven, 1,000 miles per year towing a 7,000lb travel trailer, and tires were regularly inspected/pressure checked, washed/dressed with UV protectant. Tires put on by previous owner 2 years before I bought it.I liked the multi surface traction, but for the price/reputation I would have expected more. Will NOT put these tires on my truck ever again.

Montana Weather

I bought the LTXA/T2 tires for my Jeep because in Montana we have extremes of weather that require a superior tire. At Christmas time we drive into the mountains close to town and find ourselves on roads that vary from dry to ice to snow packed to deep snow. My Michelin tires do the job for those varied conditions. In the summer our weather can get up to 100 degrees and in that weather we may end up pulling our camper over a steep mountain pass as we head to a lake camp site. Having Michelin tires gives me a sense of security that is much appreciated. We don't put a lot of miles on our tires each year but the miles we do drive need a good tire such as the LTXA/T2.

these tires suck

I bought a 2016 Truck and these tires came stock and currently has 21000 miles on it. I was driving on a very well maintained, highly used dirt road with an ATV in the bed of the truck. My rear right tire went flat and the tire shredded before I realized what had happened and was able to stop. It appeared to me that it was not just a puncture in the tread, but that the tread ripped, and then sidewall fell apart. The next day the left rear tire was flat. I will never again use Michelin Tires. Glad this did not occur while towing my trailer.

Amazing tire!

I was talked into this tire by my mechanic, and I was amazed at the durability, Michelin rates this tire for 60,000 miles but I think I will exceed that by far. The off road traction of this tire is good, and it is fairly quiet on the highway. If someone was looking for a good all around tire I would recommend this in a heartbeat.

Poor tread life

These came stock on 2013 f250 and I got about 32K miles on them. I serviced my truck at the dealership and I had the premium maintenance program so they rotated on schedule. I gave them another shot and my second set has lasted 38K miles. I am about to replace them again and I am having a hard time justifying these again.

reply from Consumer Care

We understand the LTX A/T2 tires on your 2013 F250 did not meet your expectation in terms of mileage. A member of our Consumer Care team will be in contact with you. You may also reach our office at 1-866-866-6605.

Great performer on Tundra

Great traction in the wet, dry, snow, and ice. I haven't had a chance to drive in any significant mud but expect them to be adequate for an AT tire. They do seem to ride much harsher than the Revo's they replaced even though I am running the ATX at lower pressure. It is too soon to know but I am hoping the pay back for the ride quality issues will be longer wear. The Revo's were only good for about 45k.

Good Riding Tire, Dry Rot an issue

Bought these 7 years ago for my 2004 SIlverado HD. Great on snow, off-road and highway, although dry rot has forced me to replace them after seven years which started a couple of years ago. May be the Denver altitude and/or dry heat, disaapointed that I have to replace a tire that has over half its tread life left due to age.

90k miles and going strong!

I have been riding on these tires in my 06 f-150 for 90,000+ miles. Still have life left in them. Regular balancing and alignments have helped. Winters and summers in Indiana have extreme temps and conditions. They're excellent in the rain, fairly quiet in dry conditions (they have a soft prrr that's barely noticeable), winter on thick snow they're flawless. Ice, they stick ok if you drive sensibly, because hey, you're on ICE! I pull trailers with them, heavy loads in the truck bed, no issues. Hands down, this is an excellent tire of you take care of them. I'll eventually buy a second pair when these finally lose their life in 5000 to 10,000 miles, just in time for winter!
