Poor on ice

I had these on my 4Runner when I resided in Utah. Long story short, they handled very poorly on ice; the LTX M/S's I owned previously were far superior. After driving on these for two winters, I went back to the LTX M/S's. Not as rugged looking (if that's your thing), but a far superior all-season tire.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, JML56. We would recommend getting a tire inspection at an authorized dealer. Please have the dealer contact us at 866-866-6605 to report their findings.

Wears Great

I bought these tires a few years ago and they wore like iron. Really good in the snow at first, but after about 50000 miles they weren't as good as when new. Not much road noise but they had even wear. The only thing that I wished that these tires had was more deep siping for winter time driving. I replaced them with another brand after 60000 and could have gone another 10000 easy. But with winter coming on (and it was a doozy!) I decided to try another brand.

I'VE HAD 3 SETS ON MY ...

I'VE HAD 3 SETS ON MY VEHICLE AND ALL HAVE EXCEEDED 65,000 MI. I AM IN SALES, AND DRIVE QUITE A BIT. I'VE WORKED IN NORTHERN NEVADA FOR 10 YEARS WITH EXTREME ROAD CONDITIONS. THESE TIRES ARE THE ONLY ONES I WOULD BUY AND RECOMMEND TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

all-terrain pickup tire

Excellent all-terrain tire for my F-150. They are surprisingly quiet, with a comfortable ride.great traction, and long wear. The only downside, besides the cost, is the tendency to pick up rocks from the driveway. I will purchase the highway tread design when these wear out. You will not be disappointed with these excellent tires.

Ltx a/t 2

I have never had a tire that picks up rocks like this one. Has been a great tire other than that. It does what i needed it for though. It has a more agressive tread than the LTX tire that i had before. Just hope i get 75000 miles out of them like the LTX. Great product.

Great so far!

Since Oct 12 (3 months now), I've run these things in heavy rain on highways, slick (and rather deep) mud on river boat 'launch' areas, and in heavy snow in the mountains (where I live) with no major slippage issues. Great control and smooth, quiet ride. Very pleased.

3 sets, great tire if you dont tow heavy

I have had three sets of these tires(factory size) on my 2011 f250 4x4. The first set lasted 65,000 miles(highway) and still had a fair amount of tread on them when i replaced them. I bought a new set and started towing weekly, a 10,000 lb trailer. The tires did not hold up well at all. Literally every single tread piece on each tire has torn or been ripped off. The tires fall apart when towing heavy. The extra stress of the weight on accelerating and braking is just too much for these tires. Second set lasted for 20,000 miles. Im now on a new set and have a couple thousand miles on them. The reason i bought them again is because I got a very good deal on them. Wont buy again though.

Awesome all around tires

I loved these tires from the moment I first drove the vehicle after installation. I was looking for quiet and comfort. Got it. When the first rains came I was looking for traction. Got it. When the first ice and snow came I was looking for cold weather traction (different from just rain). Got it. I did my research and I'm glad. There has never been a tire that I have been more pleased with.

140,000 miles and still going

I have put over 140,000 miles on my current set. This is the third set I have bought for two different full size SUV's and have achieved over 90,000 miles on every set. They are very quiet and have great traction in soft sod, ice, and snow. I tow quite extensively with the loads ranging from 1500 to 7500 pounds. Again, very strong and very quiet enduring a wide temperature range travelling back and forth from PA to FL. I will never buy any other tire than these LTX A/T2's!!!!!

35,000 miles and needing to be replaced

I thought these tires were pretty good...that is until I was told that at 35,000 miles they needed to be replaced due to wear. Are my expectation to high...am I foolish to think that a tire that is thought to be good for 60,000 miles would last a little longer than 35,000 miles.
