☀️ SUNNYD — 5% JUICE, 95% “WHAT EXACTLY AM I DRINKING?” 😂 ⭐ My Sam's Club Product Review I was not the one who picked up the SunnyD but the kids came home with this from school. I took away their bottles then actually READ THE LABEL. Well… that was educational. 😂 It proudly announces “Contains 5% Juice.” Five. Percent. Apparently the other 95% needed a chemistry degree and considerably more reading time. One little 6.75-oz bottle has 11g of total sugar, including 10g of added sugar—and the ingredient list starts with water and high-fructose corn syrup before getting around to those concentrated fruit juices. Then the supporting cast arrives: High-fructose corn syrup. Modified cornstarch. Canola oil. Cellulose gum. Sucralose. Potassium sorbate. Sodium hexametaphosphate. Calcium disodium EDTA. Yellow %235. Yellow %236. And somewhere in that crowd, 5% juice is waving from the back: 👋🍊 “Hi! Remember me?” Is every ingredient automatically dangerous? No. Food additives permitted for use aren't synonymous with poison, and simply having a long chemical-sounding name doesn't make something toxic. But is this what I personally picture when somebody says “fruit drink for the kids”? 🤣 Absolutely not. And parents of already energetic children, I have questions. You looked at your little tornado bouncing off the furniture and thought: “You know what this situation needs? A brightly colored sweet drink.” Then 20 minutes later: 🏃💨 WHY IS HE RUNNING THROUGH THE HOUSE?! Ma'am. You supplied the rocket fuel. 😂 My bigger complaint isn't that SunnyD is secretly poison. It's that this is a highly processed, sweetened fruit drink containing only 5% juice—not something I'd confuse with whole fruit, 100% juice, or water. And no, a label like this doesn't establish that the drink contains dangerous levels of heavy metals, pesticide residues, or other contaminants. Those claims require actual laboratory testing of the product; I'm not going to turn legitimate label criticism into internet chemistry fiction. My verdict: ⭐ ONE STAR - zero stars was not an option ☀️ Sunny? Yes. 🍊 Mostly juice? Nope. 🍬 Sweet? You bet. 🧪 Ingredient list? Bring your reading glasses. 😂 Necessary for an already hyper kid? I wouldn't volunteer as tribute. Sam's Club, you can keep carrying it. I'll just keep walking toward the water aisle. 💧😂 SUNNYD: When 5% juice gets 100% of the advertising confidence.

The best deal around for a great product! Check your price per ounce...you can't do better unless it's one of the summer sales on the larger bottles!

The lids on these bottles were hard to get open because the "safety strip" didn't release from the lid. We ended up basically pulling the lids up in order to get them open. We prefer the larger bottles, but these are the only size available.

On sale for $3 & change - this is a great bargain. Size of bottle is just right for packing lunch or a breakfast drink for kids. Sunny Ds array of vitamins helped my kids avoid or quickly recover from colds.
