I purchased 10 chairs probably about 2004, loved them,, they are so easy to use inside and out when you have extra company, , We purchased 14 more over the next years or so, for family get togethers and such,, thoroughly loved the chairs, with 24 of them they get borrowed all the time for family functions,, Now my problem is that one of the hinges on the side of one has broken when someone sat in it, so in trying to figure out if i can get it replaced or file a claim on it, I'm told that without the actual receipt and the number off the bottom of the chair to see when it was manufactured it is useless, The only number i found on the bottom C51000A, i was then told after 30 min on the phone with the manufacture service number,, 800 225 3865 that the number wasnt the one i needed..but there is no other number on there, I have found out that there is only a ten yr warranty on them, but with no other number to be found i dont know when the actual chair that broke was made, whether it was one of the first that we purchased or one of the latter ones.. Anyway, not complaining about the chairs they are awesome and plenty dependable, for this being our first problem ever with any of our 24 chairs, i feel we got or moneys worth. , just keep up with your receipts and maybe mark on each chair the date purchased in case something ever does happen that you could maybe get it replaced, I was just thoroughly disappointed after so long on the phone that the person seemed like i was taking up their time by not having a receipt and not a number from the bottom of the chair to see when it was made,, Maybe will try to have someone weld the hinge or something and just leave it open all the time, rather than throw the chair away. good luck to all, hope you enjoy your chairs as much as we have,..
