Nice Styling but Not Fuctional and Poor Quality

This dish drainer has a glass and cup sub-part that easily falls off the side of main drainer. It is oriented opposite of a conventional drainer and thus poorly fits an ordinary countertop and so hit wastes countertop space. The drip pan is designed such that it contains the dripped water instead of flowing into the sink thus creating a pool of water. Finally, and most important, the parallel aluminum grates composing the floor of the drainer that are soldered or welded to the side support bar detaches over time resulting in glasses and cups falling on their sides. This dish drainer is looks cool but as far as functionality goes, it is a disaster.

Problematic Glass holder

The glass holder is poorly designed, it also continuously comes off the rack whenever a glass is pulled from it, I have to tie it with the rack. Only 3 Glasses or cups can be put on it. Rack should have another glass holder like all other racks having glass holders on 2 sides.

Bad purchase

The quality of the rack itself is remarkable however the drip tray is absolutely unusable. It’s too small and water drips around it from the rack. It’s unstable and needs to be larger to fit the rack size. I’d return it but my husband threw away the packaging.

Love mine!

Love it! Little rubber tabs for the bottom are hard to put on, but turn it over and it’s easier to put on that way. Very sturdy. I have had it for a couple of weeks and still looks good. No fading. Wooden knife cover does come off, but if you want to keep the inside compartment clean that’s a good thing. My sister has one as well and loves hers.

Almost a great design

I needed this for the right side of the sink. As others had noted, it is indeed optimized for the left side of the sink. Unfortunately, I overlooked those reviews because they had replies that you could take the drain board out and reverse it. That doesn't really work, though, because the supports for the drain board are two different heights, meaning the water will pool and not drain off if you reverse the drain board. I'm bummed out, but will probably keep it anyway.

So far so good.

I was actually apprehensive ordering this since some reviews were negative. I would put it in my cart and take it out. Finally I decided to just “go for it”. It’s perfect. Just what I needed. I added the feet extensions to help with drainage. Can’t beat this and the price I great also.

Brittle Feet

Changing the rack from left-hand to right-hand was straight-forward. However, when replacing one pair of the plastic feet, one of the short ones broke during removal and one of the longer ones broke during installation. I was being as careful as possible, recognizing the feet were "iffy", but two still broke. I ended up using two zip ties to try to keep the broken foot in place (see photo; the break is towards the inside of the unit). It has held so far, but I doubt the repair will last. Otherwise, the drying rack works for what I bought it to do. It was not my first choice but it was available at the time. Would I buy it again? Yes, but only if my first choice (a very large and unadorned Rubbermaid coated wire rack) could not be obtained.

Flawed

The cup holder and knife holder constantly falls off when you remove cups or knifes from them. I love the concept the knife holder but it is more of a headache. Maybe I will glue it down so when I remove the clean knives it doesn’t fall off. Just a thought

Not a fan

I bought this a long time ago and continue to use it only because I spent $25.00 on a dish drainer. It doesn't drain into the sink since it lays flat - water collects on it and you need to tilt it to drain or put something under the one of it so it sits up higher. Plastic drain liner under the drainer does not cover to the side where you put glasses so they just drain on your counter - nothing to catch the water. The rungs of the drainer are awkward or I have abnormal plates - they don't fit as well as they have in other drainers. All in all I am not happy with this drainer and do not recommend it especially if you are having to do a large amount of dishes by hand. If you only need to do a pot it will work for you.

Good overall dish rack...... but?

Nice quality and good price. Although to drain properly and hold dishes front facing while drying, this rack can only be used to the left of your sink. We always use the right side position. In this position the dishes are only stacked facing the rear wall. Maybe I can bend the dish holders to a different angle but the thin supports could snap. A design flaw with no real remedy.
