Before buying I did lots of research and it was nearly unanimous that the Michelin Pilot Super Sport is the absolute best wet and dry performance tires you can get for my car (Honda S2000). If you have a nice sports car that might see wet road conditions, this is the one for you.While a softer Extreme Summer Performance (ESP) tire is a bit better in dry conditions, this tire will give you superior wet grip. Plus, it'll have more life than an ESP tire. I've been very happy with this tire and hope they'll give me many miles of life.

I recently purchased a set of Pilot Super Sports 245/40 ZR17 on the back and 225/45s in the front, for my 10 year old CLK 430 AMG convertible. I only have 28,000 miles on this car and I really liked the original equipment tires which were the Pilot Sport model, recently discontinued. I really liked the look of that old tread pattern and recall the tires felt great at higher speeds. So I was concerned about how the new super sport tires would feel, and looked. After a recent trip to Boston, about 4+ hours each way at highway speeds, the new tires felt great on the road. We had rain at one point for over an hour, and I felt just fine. The Super Sports have a deeper channel for throwing off the rain, so at higher speeds I felt more comfortable than I recall feeling when running the old tires in the rain at highway speeds. The old model tires certainly had a lower profile for rain. On the new tires in the rain, I did not have any instances of slippage or instability at any point in time, particularly when taking the entrance and exit ramps from the highway at reasonable speeds. I also have not noticed any unusual wear on the new tires after about 2,000 miles of usage. However, I do miss the more aggressive tread pattern on the old tires and how they looked on this particular sports car. MB.

I wore my previous tire down to the cord on the inside edge of both tires. Bad camber maybe? They were 265/40/18 and I moved to the Michelin Super Sport 265/35/18 and the ride and grip is amazing. It is totally stable and it grabs hard when I accelerate through a tight corner. It just won't slide on me anymore. My 11 year old Porsche feels like it did the day I bought it! Kudos Michelin! First off, I buy and have bought tires from other manufacturers, but I always come back to Michelins... They always have the most consistent wear patterns and dependable grip across all conditions. I use them on my motorcycles where they have literally saved my life and on all my vehicles, to trucks, and our two Tesla Model S'. This review is for the cars, which weigh in a a hulking 4825 and 4945 lbs a piece!!! The Michelin Pilot Super Sports shouldn't be able to carry that kind of load, but they do it easily. We use the power of the electric motors and the rear tires show the burden of that power, but it's not the tires fault. Love them!

Have put just under 1000 miles on this set of four Michelin Pilot Super sports tires under spirited driving conditions in my AMG Mercedes. Quiet, comfortable ride quality. No problems in the rain. Went up to 140 mph without difficulty. I hope that I get good life out of this set. If I can get 20K or better miles, I will be ecstatic.

I want to start by saying that I "only" buy Michelin Tires. I have had most of the performance tires since the 1970's and have always been impressed with the quality. This is my 3rd set of "Pilot" series tires and have to say this is my favorite tire ever! Quiet, good in the rain and handles in the dry like (rubber) glue on the road. I hope I don't get over confident with regards to how my car now grips in the corners. I have always been a safe but fast driver and feel confident these tires will forgive my occasional mistake.

I bought the Pilot Super Sports to replace the stock run flats on my BMW 335i coupe. Huge improvement. I can feel how the car is gripping the road now. I tracked the car with the run flats before moving to the super sports and what an amazing difference. Tires ae a bit quieter as well.

These 235/40ZR-18 Michelin Pilot Super Sport XL tires are on my 2007 Audi A4 3.2 Sports Line and they are GREAT!!! These tires have better traction, rides smoother and quieter than before. Most of all, they made the car feel much better, leading to greater confidence when cornering and braking and thus, overall safety. I would certainly recommend these tires to my family members and friends. One should never compromise on brakes and tires and this is a good example of me buying these excellent tires for summer driving. I am extremely pleased with the overall performance of these tires.

Spirited driving, I have not been to the track yet but the tires hold the road very well and the ride is nice as well. Its too early to say how well they wear. I have about 2000 miles on them. My only problem with them is that the installer had trouble putting them on my S2000 rims and scuffed up my rims .

I own a BMW 330ci. The Michelin Super Sport seem to be a perfect fit for my car. They are quiet and provide a comfortable ride with a sidewall that compliments the sport suspension with better compliance over sharp bumps compared to other tires I have used. The handling is just exceptional and I am most impressed because the grip is so sticky and, yet, wear is negligible after several thousand miles. And the price was right. My aim is to provide honest feedback and, to be honest, I cannot find a thing wrong with my Pilot Super Sports. I am completely satisfied with their performance and would buy them again.
