I bought these tires to replace the OEM "performance" tires my Audi S4 was equipped originally. Much, much better than OEM Summer tires. Handles better, grips better in dry or wet weather. Much more precise turn in. I have no complaints at all. I just wonder how long they will last.

Absolutely hands down, THE BEST tire I have ever used. Instantly transformed the feel of a fully refreshed suspension my e36 M3. As an occasional track car/garage queen, I have had the opportunity to try different brands. Not only has the general ride quality improved over other tires I have tried, but the handling is a dramatic change. Other high performance tires I have tried simply lack the cornering stability of these tires around a tack and in daily driving. That sticky feel in the summer is fantastic. I have a higher degree of confidence in cornering and braking. These tires compliment this cars handling and push it to the limit.

Aggressive Street Driving/Autocross Excellent Street grip in either dry or wet conditions, wear rate is also great. Only problem I had with the tires is that they did not match my demands of them in autocross, about 1 second off the pace compared to other cars running the extreme performance category tires, since these are only max performance I give them the benefit of the doubt. Love these as street tires though.

Whenever my new car needs replacement tire I choose Michelin. I want the best performing tire in all categories for the season and for Summer Performance the Pilot Super Sport (PSS) delivers for dry and wet traction, ride comfort and tread life, and is a noticeable, superior improvement in all areas to the OEM performance tires as delivered. I have never been disappointed or regret choosing Michelin.

I JUST FINISHED A FULL TRACK DAY IN MY SATURN SKY RACE CAR EQUIPPED WITH PILOT SUPER SPORTS. THESE TIRES HELD UP BETTER THAN ANY OTHER STREET TIRE I'VE EVER USED FOR TRACK. THEY WERE VERY PREDICTABLE AND HAD EXCELLENT GRIP, EVEN WHEN HOT. WITH A PROPER TRACK ALIGNMENT, THEY WEAR EXTREMELY EVEN. STARTING THE DAY, TREADWEAR WAS 9/32. BY THE END OF THE DAY, THEY WERE WORN TO 7/32 ALL THE WAY ACROSS. BY THE THIRD SESSION, I WAS DRIFTING CORNERS DUE TO THE LEVEL OF CONFIDENCE THESE TIRES GAVE ME. EXCELLENT TIRE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Purchased these Pilot Super Sport tires for the rear as I only got 10,000 miles from the originals. The handling and smoothness was great. I am a smart/safe driver and regiously check the air pressure but only got 7,000 miles off these tires, especially the right rear, which is the torc side. The left rear still has at least half the tread left but I will have to change them both. I was told that's the nature of the beast. I will think of sacrificing smoothness for a little more wear life and look for something else.

I put 4 new tires on my car and after 8 months of driving I had a blowout on the front and the tire wear was not very good. the orginal tires lasted 5 years and the replacement tires did not last 2 yrs, for the price we paid I would have thought I would have gotten better life out of them.

I'm very happy with my super sports. I have a 2007 Porsche GT3 that I drive on the street as well as the track and these tires do an exceptional job at both. They are much quieter that the RE-11's that I had on the car before the PSS's. The grip is more consistent on track days even if it's hot out. I've only had them on the car for a few months but I'm expecting them to last much longer than any other tire worth putting on the car so it's a win-win! Buy with confidence!

Got a new 2011 Audi A4 loaded. The car handled ok until the sidewall blew out on 1 tire at 6k miles. Researched 245/40 R 18 fitments and saw the rave reviews about the Michelin Pilot Super Sport tireline. Bought the tires and they transformed the ride, which was already good. As the ratings show some comfort is lost but handling particularly into corners is top notch. The first thing you notice after driving a few miles is that the tires are warm and become very sticky and picked up grit off my driveway. I was already feeling like an F1 driver! If I wanted to wander up and down the freeway all day then the 30k warrantly might scare you off but as I do 10k miles a year I wanted to get everything out of the car as these tires allow me to do that.

Just replaced the OEM tires on my 2011 Corvette Grand Sport with the Michelin PSS. I can't believe it's the same car. The ride is so much smoother and quieter. I do a lot of driving on rural roads mixed in with Interstate highways. I enjoy pushing the car to it's legal limits and look forward to some track days. The grip of these Super Sports is unlike anything I have experienced in the 3 Corvettes I have owned. The GS is known for a "scuffing" sound and feel at start up speed with the wheels turned. I was resigned to this. It has disappeared with the PSS tires. Simply amazing! Should have made this move a long time ago. Now I need to get more than 16,000 miles on the set as that is what the OEM tires have given me.
