Excellent tire. Handles like it is a set of RR tracks. Question - what is the minimum temp for driving. This tire is on a Porsche 911. We live in TN and still have nice days in the winter. But, we have a northern route road trip planned, not in snow and ice, but possibly with temps below 40. Nights could dip below freezing but we won't plan to drive then. Is there an absolute "do not drive" temp where we could do tire damage or be unsafe?

The PS4’s are great! This is my second set from my M550i. Great dry and wet traction. They hug the road like riding on rails! I use them for summer months only. I got three summer seasons on the first set. It is my daily driver so I do put a good mile of miles on them. I’ve always been a fan of the Michelin brand. Have other brands models on the other cars in the household. I don’t notice any unusual road noises in the cabin.

Changed out from the stock run-flats, which wore out so quickly and developed a drone overtime, to the Pilot Sport 4S. Cannot imagine going back at this point. Smooth, quiet, yet far more sticky which helps boost the confidence of the vehicle! Will definitely buy more in the future.

The Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires are exceptional and offer impressive grip and handling, providing a great sense of control on the road. However, they can be on the expensive side compared to some competitors, but the performance and safety they offer make them a worthwhile investment for those who prioritize high-quality tires.

I take my '15 911 Turbo to the track 4-5 times a year. I drive in the "advanced group" at these events. The 4Ss I purchase failed in 3 track events. The outside edges of the tires delaminated to the cord! Michelin would not honor their warranty, even though these tires are advertised for occasional use at the track.

I bought these for my E46 M3 about a year ago, and these are hands down the best performing tires I've ever ran. The level of grip and confidence they give you under extreme cornering situations is amazing. Even in the rain they provide amazing grip, and it can be hard to get the rear end to want to slide. The only downside I would say is that these tires really don't last long at all. I've put only about 12,000 miles on mine, and all four tires are almost bald. But I also drive the car hard here and there, so that doesn't help :)

Overall very good tires in temrs of handling The previous version of the Pilot 4S was a much better tire (it was not noisy on the freeway), but it is discontinued or I would have bought it. The Pilot Sport 4S is very noisy at freeway speeds, and annoying. Would not purchase again.

I own a 2019 BULLITT Mustang with a Stage 2 Whipple Supercharger and 825 HP. I spent a great deal of time researching and asking automotive people in the know what tire I should have on my car for when I went on the race track at AREA 27 in Oliver, BC. Time and again I was told that there was a reason why Ford put Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires on you high performance Bullitt. Well everyone was absolutely correct. I pushed my BULLITT to the limit the entire day and the Pilot Sport 4s Michelins gave me everything I could ask for, grip, traction in the corners, predictability, feel and ride. A WIN, WIN for me and my BULLITT!!!

I have been a long time Michelin summer tire customer starting with the Pilot Super Sport model. I have used these on Audi A4, BMW 335i and FR-S. I have been using the Pilot Super Sport 4S on Mercedes SLK55, Jaguar XFR and Range Rover Sport. I have tried other tires including Pirelli PZero, but prefer the Michelin for the handling in wet/dry, cornering and less noise. I would recommend these tires to others.

I bought a set of these for my WRX and love them! Excellent grip in the corners, acceleration and braking. At highway speeds these tires seem to become more and more stable the faster you go. These paired with my Michelin X-Ice winter tires, I’m all set year round here in Colorado.
