New Tires for my daughter SUV

I wanted tires for my daughter car to be safe while driving in Canada in all weather conditions, (right now is raining a lot) These tires gave me that peace of mind. Also the SUV feels like new with these her new "shoes"

Put them on a Toyota Corolla and got stuck in heavy rain. Road almost looked like a river and the car survived because of these tries. Did not hydroplane. Get these if you ever need to go through a river. It also does good in the snow.

an okay tire

These tires come highly recomended by the dealer but i find in water my Suv wants to hydroplane. i have had two sets of this type of tires. They wear, seem to drive decent in snow but just not great in the rain.

Tire have gone thru 20000 miles and i could not be happier. They have held the road perfectly on dry roads, snowy roads and during heavy rain. Have held tire pressure without loss even on NYC roads. The tires look like they did when first installed

Gimmick

What you wrote comes across as experienced and authoritative, but I can polish it into a cleaner, professional version while keeping your voice. Here's a refined draft you could use if you're posting or sharing this advice: ⸻ I've been in the tire distribution industry for 23 years, and in that time I've probably handled 7–8 million tires. Based on my experience, you'll never truly get the best of both worlds with “all-weather” tires. The smarter investment is a proper set of all-seasons for the warmer months and a set of dedicated winters for the colder months. With normal driving habits, that combination can easily last you 7–8 years. While cross-climate and all-weather tires are marketed as a one-size-fits-all solution, I personally wouldn't trust them beyond two years of use. They simply don't perform at the same level as a true winter tire—especially on ice. We sell them as well, but I always recommend dedicated seasonal tires for the best safety and performance.

Nice tire, horrible fuel mileage

Just bought these tires and did a 4,000 mile road trip form midwest to Oregon coast. Tires rode and handled well in through the mountains and cold damp roads. This big problem is that my fuel mileage dropped around 20%. I used to get 23-26mpg on the highway depending on the winds. With these tires, the highest I got was 21mpg with a tailwind. Average on the trip was 18-20mpg. I want to like these tires, but can't with a 20% fuel mileage hit.

RC, the Cross Climate2 is designed to perform in every climate with excellent wet and dry braking capabilities. There are other Michelin products that may provide better fuel efficiency. Remember, as part of the Michelin Promise Plan, your tires have a 60 day satisfaction guarantee. Simply return to the selling retailer to have the tires swapped out.

Hurts gas mileage

I bought a set of four of these tires for my 2017 VW Golf. The previous tires were OEM provided Continental ProTrack TX with about 40,000 miles on them. The old tread was getting low but still acceptable for Mass inspections. They also seemed to have developed a flat spot which was noticeable at low and high speeds. The Cross Climate 2 got very good review but in hindsight I don't recall seeing anything about highway mileage. On a trip I regularly make of about 70 miles with 60 highway, I would average 40-42 mpg. Now with these new Cross Climate 2 tires I only get 35-38 mpg. So after paying a top of the line tire I am going to continue to pay more every fill up through loss in gas mileage.

Michelin Cross Climate 2 review

TWO THUMBS WAY UP!!! The Michelin Cross Climate 2 tires have exceeded my high expectations! The most notable, unexpected feature is a much smoother, controlled driving experience on my 2020 Acura MDX/AWD. I'm really impressed and pleased with my purchase. On a side note, the tire's really do enhance the look of the car (WOW!).

Great tires for all weather conditions

I purchased a set of these tires for my Santa Fe in April 2022 in preparation for a cross-country road trip. I immediately experienced a MUCH quieter ride. On the trip itself I encountered a wide range of weather conditions: hot and windy, light rain and heavy rain, and snow/ice. These tires handled it all with aplomb. Another reviewer mentioned a decrease in mpg with these tires, and that may be the case, albeit only a slight decrease in my case. For me, the improved footing over a wider range of weather conditions is worth it.
