Just replaced long lasting Michelin X-ice with CrossClimate2 and these are fantastic tires. Handled 6" of snow with ease and no sideways sliding see with other tire designs. Braking performance is exceptional in snow and wet. See other reviewers whining about MPG decrease but it's minimalin my experience for what tire has to offer. Tire is extremely quiet considering aggressive tread pattern which is impressive. Another great tire from Michelin and highly recommend if live in snowy climate.

Overall, I have been happy with mire tire purchase. One of my priorities was improved traction with winter in Wisconsin about to start and the tires deliver. The only complaint is that my milage seems to have dropped which I suppose is not unexpected.

I can't count how many sets of Michelin tire I have purchased. Bought these for a Ford Transit Connect Titanium wagon. Spent numerous hours sound proofing it. Van is light and has basic suspension. Therefore asked for the best tire, irrespective of price, that would provide a smooth and quite ride, while providing good winter traction. The ride in now rough/stiff. Despite all the sound proofing, the road/tire noise is very pronounced, especially though the front struts. There is now a vibration that comes through the steering wheel, particularly at slower speeds, and to add insult to injury, the gas mileage is off a solid 10%. They do provide good winter traction, but so do the Michelin tires I put on my daughters car this summer, without all the downsides.

Bought 3 months ago. Since then we have had snowfalls of up to 30 cm (12”) of snow and icy, compact snow roads as well as dry pavement. So fat these are about the best tires I have had on a regular vehicle. No spinning when starting out, quiet on dry pavement with good handling. One excellent thing I have noticed on ice and compact snow is little to no sideways sliding. Have not experienced heavy rainfall yet, but with traction in snow and on ice I do not expect any problems. These would be the perfect tire for the Lower Mainland of BC which gets heavy rain and occasional wet snow.

Have had these CrossClimate 2's on my wife's Subaru Impreza Limited for about a month. No chance to test them on snow or in heavy rain yet, but given her Subaru's great 4-wheel handling in snow, I have high expectations for how these tires will perform. Some reviewers have commented on road noise from these tires, but we've not experienced that at all. They're quiet and comfortable. A couple reviewers mentioned some wandering on grooved pavement, which I've also noticed, but not any worse than the previous Firestone's that came as original equipment. Not a problem in any way. So far, love 'em. I'll update after a snow experience.

Bought first set for a 2010 Forester. So impressed I bought a second set for the Jeep Grand Cherokee. Great ride, and grip especially on the Grand Cherokee. Replaced OEM tires on the Jeep. These are just so much better. No more loud crashing over potholes and highway cruising is so quiet. Replaced some Kumho's on the Subaru and these are also super quiet. Certainly worth the money. Don't put on cheap tires. You'll regret it like buying cheap shoes.

I purchased 4 Cross Climate 2 tires a month ago for my 21 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk. I could not be happier. The ride and handling in all conditions are far superior to the Goodyear Adventure with Kevlar they replaced. My wife has the Cross Climate 2's on her 16 Ford Escape and has had them in winter conditions , and feels safe and confident now. The tires are not cheap, but we feel they are well worth the money for the peace of mind they provide.

In my winter driving conditions I use spikes (country roads in the North of Finland) in my back wheel drive car. I have now my 2nd set of Cross Climate tyres in a row. They give me flexibility to change to spikes only after the real winter has come. Not any earlier. In the spring I have the flexibility to switch back early to Cross Climate thus reducing the use of spikes to minimum. I have found Cross Climate very pleasing: low noise level, reasonable wear, very neutral handling (205/60R16) in my E series MB. The tyres deserve 5/5, the pricing lowers the total to 4/5. Ps. My winter spike tyres are Michelin, too.

I've been a Michelin tire fan, but have buyers remorse on this set. I was pointed to these tires as being excellent, they do great in the rain but otherwise I haven't felt that they provide superior performance and they must have a great deal of rolling resistance because I'm experiencing a reduction of 3 mpg with my Q5. Very disappointing.

I live on Vancouver Island were we only saw about 4 dumps of wet snow this year but heavy rains monthly. I was very impressed with the handling in both. The car has never hydro planed and the traction is superb in the snow. One morning I drove down a very steep hill that had not been sanded and covered in ice and snow to a friends place on the ocean. I then had to return up his steep driveway covered in a foot of snow, stop and await his gate to open. I then was able to start up without the tires loosing traction. I then drove up this same icy snow covered hill with no slippage. The tires are very quite and the only negative I have found is that my fuel economy is down slightly from my previous tires, a small price to pay considering my peace of mind I get from this purchase. I strongly recommend these tires.
