I bought this about a month ago to protect the 2 new mattresses I purchased hoping for protection, breathability, and temperature regulation. The box says Ultimate Cotton so I unfortunately assumed it was cotton. Putting it on was not a problem. Laying in bed, moving around you can hear the plastic shifting, like a kid wiggling in their bed with the plastic mattress protector on. Then I wondered why my mattress was, after a few days not increasing in size. This protector does NOT let the mattress breathe because it is made of plastic and is NOT breathable. It does NOT keep one's temperature regulated but makes you hot and sweaty. I wish I could return them but I no longer have the box and Meijer won't return them without it even though I have the receipt. I have unzipped them and will use them as long as I can before I pitch them. Might consider their mattress pads if it's really cotton. No, I wouldn't buy again or recommend to anyone.

This mattress protector is heavy duty and it was so easy to put on my mattress!! Its also soft...I'm just so happy with this mattress protector, knowing that my mattress will stay nice and protected!

She has already spilled a drink on it and it cleaned up right away without soaking the mattress. It has a little crinkle noise to it, but it doesn't bother my daughter at all because we have one on her bed at home too !

Hes a messy boy so theres usually something getting spilled on the mattress. I put this cover on it and its already paid for itself saving the mattress from soda and dirt

It protects it and its completely sealed so its completely safe! I highly recommend this mattress protector.

You definitely need two people to put it on but it is so worth it. I've looked for mattress protectors. There aren't many out there that are waterproof AND protect from bedbugs. I'm very impressed and would recommend this to others.

It fit really well on a queen size bed and felt nice and soft to the touch. It kept the sheets nice and cool and temperature controlled. I felt that my son's allergies were also more under control with this mattress protector. I would purchase another Mattress Protector for my King Size bed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The AllerEase Waterproof Protector is such a great item to have. After a couple of days of trying this product I could tell a difference. This product is comfortable on my matress and it fits very well. Nonetheless, it does work with my son because I allowed him to sleep on bed and it was great because of his allergies. Overall, such a great product, I don't know about the waterproof but other than that awesome product. I loving it . I have a good night rest and definitely not sneezing and dusk.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really nice cover, appears to have great protection without creating that suction issue you can sometimes get with these where the air gets trapped as the mattress compresses & is very noisy. Didn't effect to coolness or breathability of our mattress either, in the past I've always found them to sleep hot. Only drawback I would say is the installation is quite difficult on a foam mattress (yes, we followed instructions and used two people but even against the wall the mattress is super floppy). My biggest suggestion would be to take your time and be careful not to pull on it too hard, the fabric is really thin and seems like it could be stretched/torn easily. Would fit a very thick fluffy mattress so a good solution for all mattresses!

It gives a good support and cushion. My allergies have seemed to improve using this protector. Really happy with it.
