Driving Better with New Latitude Tour HP

I felt so good that like to share my experience here. The difference in driving after changing 4 tires on my Lexus RX 350--it's not only very comfortable in driving but with also acoustically. I can hear better my music with less road noise. Great!!!

Excellent performer

These tires came with my 2013 Acura MDX. I have had 72,000 trouble free miles so far and they still have sufficient tread - if it were not winter. We don't get much snow here, and they still handle very well in the rain. There is still minimal road noise. I am considering replacement soon and plan to stay with Michelin because of the superb performance I have gotten with their tires on this and my previous MDX.

Short Lived

I really prefer Michelin tires but these Latitudes will not make it through the coming winter. They came on my new 2016 Ford Edge. I now have 35900 miles on them and I'm shopping for new tires. I expected to get at least 45000 - 50000 miles on them. I'm particular about my tires so I keep them properly inflated, balanced and rotated. I like the feel and the quiet ride but unfortunately they were short lived.

Highly recommend.

These came on my new 2015 Ford Edge SEL AWD. Almost 9 years later (probably a few years too long), I finally had to replace them with 66,000 miles and very even wear. Through snow and rain, freezing weather, scorching hot summers, turnpikes, highways, county roads, city streets these performed perfectly in any condition and without any noise or harsh riding. So much so, that I just replaced these with the same exact tire, even though other Michelin models were a little less expensive.

Great mileage, even wear, quite ride

Tires purchased with new vehicle, lasted 105,000 miles with even wear at 4/32 tread depth remaining. Great balance throughout lifetime of P245/60R18 tires on a 2012 Ford Explorer. Rotation and balance performed after every oil change (5000 miles) and assured constant 35 PSI tire pressure. I have replaced with same tire and the ride is excellent just as my original. Could have purchased a cheaper tire, but I think I made the best choice for my vehicles quite ride, safety and performance.

Looking for a safe, smooth riding tires?

This tire is a good performer in the city as well as in high speed driving. It handles all weather conditions: wet, snow, and dry pavement in a safe and reliable manner. The composition of the tire allows me to go into fairly sharp turns with the confidence that my Hyundai Santa Fe will hold the road. The tires that came with this SUV when new were not a Michelin product. I have seen a marked change in performance of this vehicle with the upgrade to Latitude HP Tour tires. Need to buy another set of winter tires? Save your money, because these tires will do the job even going to the ski slopes in the high mountains. Only down side that I have experienced, tires will collect gravel in the tread pattern when doing limited off-road driving. This is do to the soft composition of the rubber compounds used to give the great on-road performance that I appreciate in this tire. Like any tire you buy, I properly maintain them with regards to tire pressure, rotation, and balancing when needed. This contributes to the good tire wear I am receiving and added performance. Treat this tire right....and it will add to the driving pleasure of the vehicle you mount them.

Not a strong tier

My tier bacame scuffled on the side from backing out of a parking space and rubbing against the curb and the air leaked out from the side and went flat. I would expect that a explorer made for a off road type usage would put strong tiers in their cars. Happened two times. Not happy!

Pay for the name and get a great tire.

Michelin tires came standard with my last two Cadillac's and are standard on all new Cadillac's Must be a reason. You think? Bought a set of Nokians to replacement tires on my first Cadillac. Paid a little less. Will replace my next set with Michelin's. Worth the extra money. Great tires just wish they were a little cheaper. LOL.

80,000 Miles of abuse! Wow!

I went to replace my tires today on my ML500. found out that I had this Latitude set for over 4.5 years 80,000 Miles. I was just amazed. With the handling, comfort, life, and dependency, I won't ever buy tires other than Michelin. I'm still waiting on my other new Mercedes tires to wear out in order to see how much better it will be with a Michelin set rather than the lousy sets that come with a new car.

Nothing better

These tires are trouble free. They are smooth and quiet without having to constantly rotate and balance. My daughter drives this vehicle and I wanted a tire she would be safe in the rain. No slip at all. They also last a very long time. My previous set of these last over 100,000 miles.
