Yes, we have some bananas...(You have to be old ☺)

Just the thing for our smoothies, we've discovered that if you separate the bananas, they will last longer before going soft. That's the purpose of the wrap on the stems, by the way; there was a Shark Tank show in which someone was pitching (successfully) a stem cap; it minimizes the ethylene gas which is used in grocery distributor vaults (huge sealed warehouses with ethylene pumped in to get the VERY hard and green bananas ripe enough to eat, having been shipped while not the least bit ripe to endure the bumps and knocks of harvest and transit) to ripen them. Grocer tip: also don't store them near apples, which also exude ethylene as they age... Always good...

Unsure what these are

I bought these bananas on May 10, 2024 they came green with the organic bananas label that is always wrapped around them however today is may 31 they’ve never ripened. I removed that organic label and broke the bunch in half setting half outside half inside to see if it would ever ripen and after three days out in the hot sun these more than a week old bananas are still not ripe My friend broke one open and took a bite out of it and spit it right back out today that opened banana still not ripe or rotten nor mushy or gushy but it feels like Styrofoam is that how a banana should look or feel after being open for over 24 hours? I do not believe these to be plantains either even if they were mislabeled.. i’m rather upset and afraid that we can’t trust even our organic foods anymore.

Negative and annoyed

You sent me 8 or 10 Bunches of bananas which was 19 lb of bananas! This is the second week that you did that and it's very annoying. Will you please talk to your shopper and tell them that it's supposed to be 8 lb or 10 lb not 8 or 10 bunches? Or should I shop somewhere else?

bought these because i didnt like the looks of the regular bananas..this bunch was perfect for me. they were smaller, which was good for me, and they were a bit green, which meant i wouldnt have to use them quickly. i usually dont buy organic, because of the cost, but these bananas were really very good

Huge!

Too big! I don’t like very big bananas and seems like whoever is doing the shopping for me always picks the biggest ones! 🤣 Truly, not bad if you want big bananas, but this is a night of my Preferred to walk in and pick myself. Quality is good though.

Bananas should be yellow.

I’m sick and can’t eat anything to heavy, my teeth hurt so I need something soft. I got all green bananas. They were hard and I have to starve and wait for them to ripen. I ordered two bunches so they’d have two chances to get it right. The pic is after two days of sitting on the counter.

Great!

I buy these regularly on my Walmart deliveries and they are almost always perfectly ripened. This is one of the few items in Walmart's produce section that I can honestly say are good, and I'll even say they are great! I wish the rest of their produce was this good.

Great Bananas, but Check for Bruising

We really enjoy these bananas, but it’s important to inspect them before buying. If they have any bruising, they’ll be smushed and overripe within a day or two. The quality can vary depending on the week, but when they’re fresh and unblemished, they’re delicious and perfect for snacking or smoothies!

Inedible

Ordered for delivery, whomever picked these out and thought they were ok to give to anyone’s family in exchange for money should be ashamed of themselves. Besides the black and brown ones, two of them were rotten to the point of seeping goo from spots.
