Bananas

Bruised. Didn’t show on outside but was there when peeled. A big turn off. I did like the fact that there was plastic wrap over the stems which is supposed to keep them from ripening too fast.  Since I tossed them out after discovering the bruises I don’t know how effective the wrap was. 

Bottom line is that I won’t  be buying again. I will instead get my potassium from avocados as they contain more than bananas

Normally I will skip "organic" because of the added expense, but I wanted a bunch of bananas' and the shopper chose organic bananas'.  I'm really surprised at the firmness even when the little dark spots show the are ripening and should be softer these bananas' held their firmness.  I've got to enjoy these much longer than the standard ones.  Once they soften I don't like them as much.
