Very Noisy and rough ride

I bought these tires less than a year ago, I have put about 4,000 miles on them and I really dislike them. There is no smooth ride and they are so noisy it's frustrating. I was told by the tire shop to give them some time since they are new but there has been zero change. I don't even like driving my vehicle anymore because of the tires. I really wish I could say otherwise but unfortunately aside from the warranty I would never recommend these to anyone.

Disappointed after 6 years

Bought set of 4 in Jan 2019. Put 50,000 miles on them and the massive cracks between the tread valleys are extremely troubling. All 4 tires have the massive cracks. I have a lot of tread left (65%), but I can't bring myself to drive with them because of how bad the cracks are. I've never seen cracks this bad on tires that are 10 years old let alone 6. Not spending my $ on these again.

A few months back I ...

A few months back I slapped on my second set of Michelin tires AFTER I finished getting 100k miles from my last set of LTX M/S! I truly believe regular rotations/balancing and proper inflation make all the difference in the world. Yes, these tires have a premium up-front, but you definitely get what you pay for in this case. That's why I have a new set of Michelins on my 4Runner now and we just put a new set on my wife's new MDX this past summer. I really have no desire to buy another brand - my experience with those tires was that good!

I have used a total of 48 of these tires since 1989 on two different Dodge 3500 dually trucks, carrying a Lance camper at 5,000 pounds loaded, often towing boats from 17 to 23 feet and travelling from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to Anchorage. Alaska and throughout Western 1/2 of the US without a single failure. These tires performance in a mix of heavy loads, hot highways and bad roads have given me great confidence during my widely varied travels! I will be a lifelong customer of this superb and reliable product.

My LTX M/S tires are still going

I put these tires on my truck on July 2007 when it had 45,892 miles. Today, my truck has 184,587 miles on it and I am still going strong (already 138,695 miles). This is the second set of tires I have owned on two different trucks. First truck had 127,000 miles on the tires when I sold the truck to get this truck. I am hoping to get at least 150,000 before I turn them in for new ones. Has anyone ever gone longer than 150,000 miles on a set of these tires? If so, how long?

Terrible Tramlining

I have always liked the performance of my Michelin tires but the tramlining on this set is a definite negative. I truly would not have purchase them had I known that it would be this noticeable. I needed new tires for my Jeep Grand Cherokee and I put on about 35K miles a year so I didn't hesitate getting these as I have never had this problem with other Michelin's on my cars. Very irritating considering half of my daily commute is on grooved pavement.

Unbelievable mileage

The Michelin man probably doesn't want to hear this but the last set of LTX M/S 225 70R15 tires I got 128,000 miles out of them and when my dealer could not locate another set for my Ranger they got me 235 70R15 and I've got 90,000 on these tires and they should last easily as long as the first set. I drive as a regional courier in the Kansas City area and went through OEM tires, replacement tires from other manufacturers and I will always buy Michelin's from here on out!!!!!

The main reason I buy ...

The main reason I buy Michelin tires for my truck is they are economical to use. They cost less than any tires that I used, based on full life of tire. My Michelins have over 70K miles and they have a lot of thread left. The originals where totally gone after 44k with using the spare tire in the rotation on a dually.

Michelin is the best tire by far!!

I am 45 years old and very concerned with the safety of my vehicle. Michelin has proven to be the best tire by far and is worth the price. I have tried to go with a more reasonably priced tire but it was not worth it because of the quick wear. If you want safety especially in inclement weather conditions, quality, smooth ride, durability and even looks, you cannot go wrong with Michelin tires. Michelin tires is what it will be for me FOREVER!!!!

"You get what you pay for, get the best"

I have run michelins for the past 15 years and recommend them to all. To some they might seem a little pricey, but I have found that they are well worth the extra expense. I have had very little problems with these tires, a few have separated but overall I am very satisfied with my decision to run michelins.
