These are the best tires I've ever owned!

I purchased a jeep grand Cherokee with these at 55k miles. The tires were not obviously new.. I figured they might be the originals. Now that I have 130k miles on the vehicle, I know that they really shouldn't be the originals, but I will put another 15k miles on them, THEY STILL HAVE 3/16+" OF TREAD LEFT! My jeep is very much a dog, and I drive easy, but I have personally put 75k miles on these, and another owner has put an unknown amount as well. I'll be buying another set for sure! Highly recommend for an SUV on pavement!

Ride is very smooth

I have read many of the reviews on this tire and while I didn't actually choose these tires (they came on my new truck), I felt I should mention what I have seen. I am a very happy Michelin customer with the exception of cost. I have only put 2000 miles on my new truck with these GY tires and I have to admit that I would absolutely consider them for repurchase once they wear out and need replacement. Again, I could change my mind if these tires fail prematurely but I am very happy with the handling (almost sports-care like...) and there is not any road noise. My truck is 4x4 with the 5.7 Hemi. Rain has not been an issue at all either. To me these are definitely tires to consider... Ed

Good Tire for Highway. Bad Tire for Off Road/Gravel Travel

These tires are great for Interstate and City Driving. However, when you get on the gravel out in the country and hit screws or nails they go right through the tire tread. My buddy has had 3 flats in less than a year on three different tires of these SR-A's. I have had flats in at least two of them that I can think of.

Will buy another set when needed

These tires are exactly what I needed for on and off road conditions. This also includes the winding roads of the foothills of North Carolina. I currently have 40,000 miles on this set and anticipate not needing my next set for another 10,000 to 15,000 miles. Quality at a very reasonable price. Inexpensive considering the treadwear, and it would take two sets of other brands to accomplish the same use, I ve received from my Wrangler

Nice tire.

Very good tire so far. After two sets of 75 profile series OEM tires I decided to change to the 70 profile series Wranglers on my Tacoma P/U when they needed to be replaced. So far I am pleased with the change (cannot comment winter traction at this time). The ride may be a little stiffer but the look of the truck is improved with the wider tire, and the tread looks much more aggressive than the OEM tire but is still quiet.

Overrated

Haven't run Goodyears in a long time so I was hoping for a good experience with the Wranglers that came on my Chev 2500 High Country. Disappointed at best. Terrible in wet conditions, very little tread left at 40K miles, 1 tire consistently leaks, another punctured with a small pebble in a parking lot. The only positive comment is little road noise. Switching to Continental next week.

50,000 miles is pretty accurate.

I replaced the original tires at 49,000 miles. They would have made it another 1,000 miles or more. But, one was punctured and needed to be replaced. So, I went ahead and bought a set. There was a very noticeable difference in handling/breaking with new tires.

great tires

These tires came stock on my new ram....they exceeded my expectations, towing/hauling/highway/winter/summer......the compound seems to be capable for all these types of driving, and the carcass is stiff enough for towing and hauling even though they are not a load range e. I am very impressed.

80K on a set

These tires came on a new 2011 Ford Ranger. I drive 50 miles per day. Presently have 78,000 miles on the vehicle and will probably need to be replacing them soon. Want to hold out for the 80,000 mark though if I can. Will put the exact tires back on when they are replaced. Can't be unhappy about the service I have gotten out of them. Thanks, Joe

Not Happy!

Typically I love the tires and have been buying them for years for different vehicles. This latest purchase I was very disappointed in. The tires look OK but the raised white letters have what I'll refer to as stains that won't scrub out. This means it is imbedded into the lettering. This is true for three tires. The third only has spots in places, not like the other two. One tire was fine. Seems to be a manufacturing problem that should have been pick up at the factory and at the very least the installer should have picked up on the stains.
