Generac Is The Way to Go

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] During a recent power outage, my husband was able to connect our Generac GP Multifuel Portable generator to the breaker box. Worked perfect for powering the house. Generator was also great using power tools on an outdoor project.

Very disappointed

I have owned this generator approximately five years, it only has 60 hrs on it. It has been in auth shop twice and has had four new fuel pumps. Also new voltage regulator It has now blown the fuse behind the control panel and blows another as soon as installed?? I seldom post negative comments on products. In fact this is my first!!!! Very disappointed!!!

Amazing power for the whole house!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GP9500E Tri-Fuel Portable Generator is an absolute powerhouse! I needed a reliable backup power solution for my home, and this generator exceeded all expectations. The ability to run on gasoline, propane, **and** natural gas gives me incredible flexibility, especially during extended outages. The 9,500 starting watts (7,500 running watts) provide more than enough power to keep my essentials running smoothly, including the fridge, AC, and even power tools when needed. The electric start is a game-changer—no more struggling with pull cords! Plus, the runtime is impressive, especially on propane. Build quality is solid, and the noise level is reasonable for its size. Setup was straightforward, and the included wheels make it easy to move around. If you're looking for a dependable, versatile generator, the GP9500E is worth every penny. Highly recommend!"* --- **Key Features Highlighted:** ✅ **Tri-Fuel Capability** (Gas/Propane/Natural Gas) ✅ **Powerful Performance** (9,500W starting, 7,500W running) ✅ **Electric Start** + Quiet Operation ✅ **Portable & Durable**

Highly Recomend!!

I brought this generator prior to relocating to Puerto Rico this year. When Hurricane Irma then Maria hit the island in September, I ran it 24X7 to power my home. I could not be happier. Had refrigerator and lights everyday until the power was restored November 25th. That was 2 plus months. Never a hiccup and on we washed our clothes in the washer. I invested in a transfer panel during the outage and that made the use even easier/ The electric start is a charm and changing the oil is easy. 10 days after the power was restored the lights went out again. Went to my generator, pushed the start button and it went back on line. Went I turned it off after 2 months I kissed it because it helped my wife and I get thru a difficult time. Buy this unit. I am a very careful shopper and only invest in quality products. If I seem enthusiastic, it is because it performed beyond my expectations. THANKS GENERAC!!!

General Portable Generator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Living in South Georgia, I need to be ready for hurricane season, and the Generac GP9500E Tri Fuel Generator gives me that confidence. With 12,500 starting watts and 9,500 running watts (on gas), it's powerful enough to keep our home running smoothly during an outage. I love that it runs on gas, propane, or natural gas—great flexibility when fuel options are limited. The maintenance is straightforward with clear instructions, and the electric start makes things easy. It's not whisper-quiet, but for a generator of this size, the noise level is very reasonable and not disruptive. The COsense® safety feature gives added peace of mind, and the 7.5-gallon tank provides over 10 hours of runtime at 50% load. This generator is a wise investment for any household facing severe weather. I'm so thankful for this.

Reliable, easy to operate, and so versatile!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We own a cabin in North Carolina that was affected by hurricane Helene. Our power has gone out multiple times since and the Generac GP9500E Tri Fuel Generator is my new go-to source of confidence. What I appreciate most about this generator is its versatility. It can run on gas, propane, or natural gas, providing great flexibility when fuel options are limited. The maintenance process is straightforward, thanks to clear instructions, and LOVE the electric start. It makes it a breeze to operate. The COsense® safety feature adds an extra layer of peace of mind, knowing that it's equipped with advanced carbon monoxide detection. And with its 7.5-gallon fuel tank, this generator can provide over 10 hours of runtime at a moderate load. In conclusion, the Generac GP9500E Tri Fuel Generator is a wise investment for any household. With its impressive 12,500 starting watts and 9,500 running watts (when fueled by gas), it's more than powerful enough to keep our home running smoothly during an outage. Considering its size, the noise level is surprisingly reasonable and doesn't disrupt our daily lives. I'm incredibly grateful for this reliable and versatile generator.

Very nice and works so well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The photo shows it on its side because the wheels were being put on. However the wheels make it much easier to move around and the handle is even a better touch. The noise is not as loud as some I have heard and it was easy to start with the pull start. We plan to connect it to the house so it will run a few major appliances like the deep freezer and fridge.

Great Back-up Generator for Medium size house

I, too, bought this generator in response to a long term loss of power during Hurricane Irene. After spending so much money for a couple of days on dry ice for the refrigerator/freezer, I realized I could spend the same money on gasoline for a generator and have the additional benefit of lights and television, and not to mention being ready for future power losses. The generator was very easy to set up and it started right up with its electric starter. I ran the refrigerator, television, numerous lights, and the washing machine. It has enough power to run the critical circuits in the house and I plan to have an Auto-transfer switch installed in the near future. With some judicious planning, I think I can even start/run the smaller of the two air conditioners serving our house for short periods of time. Complaints (so to speak) - I wish it came with a ground wire for use. For safety reasons, the NEC requires the generator to be properly grounded but I imagine many people ignore this because they are only running the generator for a "short" time. Including a ground wire could serve to place extra emphasis on the safety requirement. Also, I wish Generac was more helpful with information regarding sheltering the generator during operations in inclement weather, and information on noise abatement. I imagine it is mainly due to legal liability concerns, but there are some responsible grown-ups out here using the generator.

Seems well built

Purchased it for piece of mind. I have only ran for about 6 hours so far and that was for the break in and multiple oil changes. One of those hours I did have it hooked up to my house and it powered everything I wanted with extra watts to spare ( that's why I bought a bigger one I read you only want to use about 60 % all the time to last longer) seems well made . only complaint it does use more gas per hour than other comparable models but that's it

No power :(

Well, I bought this a couple years ago to use when we go camping. I used it once and had no issues. Today I got it out to power my furnace in the house. None of the outlets have power. I checked the breakers and no luck. I tried the GFCI, but it won't trip because of no power.
