the 7500e arrived on time and within an hour it was setup and tested. it starts immediately and purrs like a kitten. when we did a load test we were happily surprised. the watt meters showed that we could comfortably operate our home with power to spare. the value we derived from this purchase will give us years of electrical security. thanks Generac for a product well done1

I have a pull start which neither I or my wife can start. We always have to call our son to get it started. I decided to look for an electric start unit after looking at many different units and reading reviews, we got the Generac GP75002E. All I can say is, it's a great unit with all the power we'll ever need and at a fare price. Don't have to wait for others to get here anymore whenever we have a power outage. I would recommend the Generac units to anyone.

Got this as 'insurance' against the increasing number of power outages. My electrician set up wiring for easy connection to my breaker box. It's really easy to roll around and use. It runs all the essential things (sump pump, furnace, refrigerator/freezer some lights, one burner on fridge, computer) - about 1/2 the house - plenty for an extended outage. I am almost looking forward to putting it through its paces during the next outage. Almost.

Just received the new GP1800. It was easy to setup, manual is easy to follow with good diagrams and explanations, and above all it was easy to start. We have been hit with some terribly bad weather this winter (and flooding in summer) and I was determined not to be without power again. This unit will provide enough power for the primary needs. Wish it had a couple of more outlets but will manage fine. It is reassuring to have a good unit like this always available for use!

A power loss at our daughter's home led to our purchasing this product which was of such superior quality to the "store" brand as to make this an easy decision. Quick and relatively easy set up (one balky nut/bolt) got her the power she needed to save a freezer of food. This product is sturdy, solid and easy to start.

Bought the unit for residential back up. Was shipped with all parts included. Thankfully. Set up was with out problem. Have utilized the generator only once for a three hour period. It carried the load without any struggle at all. Pleased so far with the unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't used a modern generator before - last one we had was 25 years old, was noisy, shaky, and we'd wear ourselves out getting it to start. Oh, and then there was the exhaust, smoke and low current. Not anymore! This thing is a dream. Arrived well packaged and was a breeze to set up. Basically you attach the wheels, front rests and handle and it's ready to go. Well you add oil (included, along with a handy funnel) From there, startup instructions are well documented in the book AND on the generator itself. I really appreciate that there are easy to follow graphical steps on the unit itself for starting and running the unit. A few quick pulls and it was purring like a kitten. I haven't had a chance to put too much load on it, but so far it's easily powered everything I've thrown at it! The unit is heavy, feels like everything is high quality, and I expect it to last a long time. Definitely recommend!

Gen delivered and missing stabalizer foot Cust Service needs Major Improvement.. 4 Calls in and still no where not even a case # sent to my email . Try to ask for a supervisor and you are blocked. Thanks for your commitment to quality. No where on your manual does it say when you call in to have your serial # with you .. That would be nice So far going on 7 days and still not able to fire up generator "Thanks" If you are thinking about buying a Genrac product Look elswhere first ! I am sorry already I purchased this

This unit is able to be stored and rolled out when needed. I use it as home backup generator and it runs everything great. I wish it was quieter, but it's not too bad. There is some rattling on the heat shield. But once it gets heated up it pretty much goes away.
