I purchased a 6500 unit after hurricane Ibella. I was pleased with the performance. I have now bought the 18000 unit for powering my whole home in case of another disaster comes my way.

This generator has plenty of outlets and watts to run anything that you will ever want to. The only complaint is that it is pretty loud. If they could find a way to make it quieter it would be 5 stars!!

Used it three times so far. Started with ease and ran flawlessly. Runs my entire 2590sq ft house without effort. Well pump, 2 refrigerators, oil furnace, freezer and misc lights. A great buy.

I recently purchased the Generac GP at the recommendation of a qualified electrician who is a good friend and has been custom installing generators for year's and has always found Generac to be top of the line.

This product is great!!! I ran it for 8 days with very litlle rest in between! Wow is the only thing I could say. I powered the whole house. Generac7500. Easy to start, easy to maintain, easy to roll wherever you need it! Lifesaver

We get a lot of outages and it usually 6 to 8 hours to get it back. This generator furs up on the first pull and powers everything but the AC. Can't imagine life without it!

Putting it together only took about 15 minutes. It started right up. Th electric start will am now ready for the next power outage and feel good that I will be warm and comfortable.

The GP6500 performed as expected with plenty of power!! We were very comfortable here at home during our power outage! Can say it was a first, had Christmas on back up power.......Thanks Generac!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Generac GP6500 is a very heavy generator nearly 200 pounds but it came in great packaging without any damage and is portable.. It was easy to assemble and runs great. Highly recommended.

After a lot of research we went with the generac generator and have been happy with the product so far. We have not had to use it in an outage yet but set it up and tested it easily.
