Best Truck tire

Only tires for my Ford F-350. Best tire that provides handling, traction, mileage and apperance for my truck. Worth every penny to know that they will preform in all situation that I'll take my truck. Drove in a heavy down pour towing my fifth wheel camper with no problems at all. Looking forward to a long service life from these tire because the last set had over 60,000 on them and I have them saved for a quick spare if one of these new ones failed.

Rain or shine, hot or cold, these tires perform very well. My Rav4 is not an open road vehicle. Despite being a 4wd manual transmission I don't go off road except to pull people out of a ditch. So I can't speak to those situations. Around town I love how my Michelin's have given my Rav4 a great ride that I can be confident about.

Great tires on my Silverado.

This is my second set of tires on my 2000 Silverado 1500. Truk has 185K miles. Driving around the city or on the highway very comfortable. reat traction and gas mileage has been outstanding. 20 mpg on the highway! Would definitely buy these again. Great in the rain and wet locations and in the snow with 4x4. I get very good mileage fro these tires easy 70K miles. Have not done too much off road with these so I can't comment.

long lasting tire

I replaced a set of big lug mud and snow tires that were horrible in the snow, these tire bite the snow and ice and brought back confidence on the snowy Vermont roads I travel in the winter. Just about every drive home was in a snowstorm, these tires perform well.

Excellent choice

I own 7 vehicles and 6 of them have Michelin defender's other 1 has Michelin Pilot Sport. that wear great NO Problems. No balance issues, they wear proper. Work great on snow and ice (tires help on snow and ice but only if you actually know how to drive on it). Excellent wet weather traction. I don't have tpms (tire pressure monitoring system) on none of them, don't want it and don't need it! I can feel if it doesn't feel right and I'll pull over and check. I also check tire pressure's on a regular basis. I don't rotate every oil change or any of that mess. I rotate only when it's needed. I'm changing a set on my 2000 Honda Accord V6 in the morning (6-29-24) that has around 68,000 miles on them with 3/32 left on them and only rotated twice (car driven VERY regularly to Duke children's hospital 2.4 hr drive 1 way, I just ain't trusting any other tire for it). My alignments are right. Never ever will there be a so called "special on alignment" ever done on anything I own, all they do is toe and go or just get it to look good for the printout. I do my own set to exact specs! Absolutely no worn parts. If you're ever told "we can adjust it for it being worn". Nope, you just got took. On another note you can not buy tires only by size and price you have to get not only the tire size BUT you have to get the speed and weight rating for your application. Example P205/65r15 94H. P is for Passenger, LT is needed for trucks that's going to be hauling anything heavy. The 94H is the load index & speed rating extremely crucial. It can literally mean the tire can't hold the weight it is carrying/hauling or handle the speed your going to be driving. Therefore I don't buy tires by price, I buy what I need and just pay the price needed and in the end it's cheaper and safer. Thanks Michelin

The LTX is by far the ...

The LTX is by far the best tires I have ever owned. My first set of LTX was bought used from A friend I worked with and when I bought the tires they had 50,000 miles on them and still looked new. I put another 100,000 miles on them!!! Thats right I got 150,000 miles out of one set of tires and they still have 1/4 inch deep tread and I'm still using them on and old project truck. The only reason I changed the tires was due to age and some weather cracks on side walls other wise I would still have them on the truck and I'm willing to bet I could get 200,000 miles out of them. Needless to say I purchased a new set of the LTX for the old truck also I brought a set of LTX for my full size van. I have a set of Michelin on my car and as soon as I save up enough money you can bet I will be buying a set of LTX for my other 4x4 truck!! For me the Michelin LTX has made a believer out of me to be the best truck or van tire you can buy!!! I can send you a picture of the old tires and you can see for yourself how good they still look to have 150,000 miles on them. Thanks Clete

I love my tires

I drive a 2500 Silverado. My husband told me to buy my own tires, since I complained about the ones he bought. I did my reserch and decided on Michelin. I found a very good price. My ride has been very smooth. we live on a gravel road and they have held up wonderfully. We also farm and the truck and tires get alot of wear. They have kept their tred. I will buy Michelin again.

Michelin is the best

I run michelins on 3 vehicles, 2 dodge diesels and a jeep grand Cherokee. The first experience I had with Michelins was on a 2004 dodge truck. They came as original equipment. After 65 thousand miles, I replaced them with michelins and installed the used tires on another truck for they had about 40 percent tread left. When my grand Cherokee needed tires, I replaced the originals with michelins. They are the best.

Ever since I was smart ...

Ever since I was smart enough to learn about how tires are made, I've driven on Michelins. I like knowing that my truck is going to go 40,000 miles or more on a set, that I will have fewer problems with them and that they will be 100 percent backed by the dealer that sold them to me, that they will make the ride and handling of my pickup the best it can be. Since I don't like wondering about when a cheap tire is going to fail, I go Michelin. Keep the pressure right, rotate regularly and other than that; get 'em and forget 'em! It's one less thing to worry about.

Best Tires

Bought Michelin Defender LTX m/S tires for my Jeep Grande Cherokee about two years ago. Best riding....traction and longest wearing tires of any we have had on our cars, suvs and trucks for the last 40 years. Ride great, hold the road in dry, wet and snow and don't seem to show any wear. Worth the extra money.
