Good Tire but not up to Michelin Standard

I have driven over 10,000 miles in ice, snow, rain and heat. These tires perform well in snow or ice and exceptionally well in rain. The issue is the tires try to follow the grooves in the road. That is unsettling when driving on ice or just annoying on dry pavement. It is controllable but the driver does need to be aware what is happening. I expect better from Michelin. If you live in an area where the roads do not have grooves cut to control ice in the winter you will love these tires. Otherwise, choose a different tire.

excellent

When I tried to get new Latitude for my 2011 Venza, that tire shop had no stock and I don't want to wait to order, so I got Premier. The brand new tires are a bit noisy when the speed is around 120 km/hr. Surprisingly, after a few weeks, they are quiet. Now no matter on dry or wet road, the performance of them is really good.

60k tires didnt last

Michelin Premier LTX tires came on my 2020 Toyota Highlander when I purchased the vehicle brand new in Feb 2020. I was happy when I saw the vehicle came with Michelin tires....I am very careful with maintenance and rotating balancing and alignment on my tires. It is now Sept 2022 and 26,000 miles later. I need to purchase new set of tires already.... Tire wear is even on all 4 tires. Always thought Michelins to be a better tire. After a little research, I am wondering if the problem is with the Premier LTX... I have purchased another set of Michelin. This time I am trying the cross climate and hoping to have a better experience....It definately was an expensive purchase...But I am willing to give Michelin one last try. Hope I dont regret it.....

Poor treadwear longevity

OEM tire on a 2017 GMC Acadia. At 30,000 miles tread measures 3/32" on all tires with even wear pattern. Followed manufacturer recommendations for maintenance, pressure and rotation. Giving an extra star for noise and comfort and general performance, but the longevity is disappointing for a 60,000 tire and is deserving of the minimum rating.

Do not recommend

These tires came on my 2017 new, Grand Cherokee that now has 37,000 miles and have been peeling and have very little tread since around 35,000 miles. I am very disappointed that they have not lived up to the warranty specs and now I will need to replace ASAP to the tune of over a grand which Will put me in a bind! My last Michelin tires, which were not the Premier LTX lasted 60,000! I will not buy this tire again.

Wears out very fast

I had these on a caravan which I no longer have but I still have the tires. They were quiet and grippy and were amazing in all the rain we get in North Vancouver BC. I thought they were the best tire I ever owned. However after only 5000km there is only 5mm of the original 8mm of tread left on all 4 tires so they are 35% worn out already. They will not last 15,000 km and are supposed to be a 100,000km tire.

New Customer

I find that the ride I am now experiencing is so much more smoother, than the tires that were replaced.it is also a good looking tire as you know I am a first time user of Michelin tires these are a all terrain tire so I will come back and write a review on how they handle in the snow and ice.

Works well....Terrible treadlife

I like the way the tire handles, rides and quietness HOWEVER, the tread-life isn't even close to what is advertised. Michelin charges for a premium tire but it wears like a low end tire. Plan on getting about 30,000 miles out of this tire. I had these 285/45R22 tires on a 2016 Yukon and got about 30,000 miles out of them till I was on the wear bars. This was a mix of country road and highway driving.

Horrible Tires

Never liked these tires from the moment I got my new SUV!!! Now I am replacing them with only 30,000 mile on my vehicle and I should have replaced them about 5,000 miles ago. I wouldn't put these tires on anything I own and I will NEVER buy another vehicle with these tires again.

Poor wear

I just took our car to the dealer for routine oil change and scheduled maintenance and was told the tires needed to be replaced. We have 36k miles on the car Service advisor told us they were worn and some dry rot and rubber pieces peeling. 3/32 tread . in June 2020 the dealer stated there was 5/32 front and 4/32 rear with 32k. Seems like a lot of wear for 4k miles
