My PREMIER LTX tires handled well and were quiet. But, the PREMIER LTX tires prematurely wore out after only 33,000 miles while they were warrantied for 60,000 miles. However, the Michelin dealer honored the tire wear warranty and prorated my replacement tires (Michelin Defender).

My car is a 2019 XT5 with 32,000km. On the specs it says they could last for 100,000km. The tires were manufactured the 0919. My front tires are at 4/32 and rear ones at 6/32, I have just have them checked by a Cadillac dealership following a road safety check. It is now unsafe to drive in wet conditions, especially due to the front ones.

I have purchased Michelin tires for years and have been extremely happy with them until purchasing these tires. After 8 months and only 20,000 miles I had to replace the tires. It is a good thing I carefully followed the extremely rigid rotation requirements or I wouldn't have gotten any credit for the miles of the warranty that the tires were short on. Early on the tires were great but in the end wet traction was scary. I won't ever put the Michelin Premier LTX on my car again. I have seen multiple reviews with the same complaint regarding these tires.

If your main objective is high mileage life, this is not your tire. I have these on 2 SUVs and they are the best handling (dry and wet), and plushest ride of any Michelin yet. Based on Michelin's own specification charts, their tread depth when new is on the low side. No source has been able to tell me why that is. The average to negative reviews are piling up fast .....something needs to be changed on this tire's tread compound, tread depth when new, etc.

I currently have Michelin Premier XLT tires with less than 43,000 miles and needing to replaced. According to your website the warrantied mileage is 65,000. I should have another year left before having to purchase new tires. In the past, my husband and I ALWAYS purchased Michelin tires for our vehicles...No questions ask!! We would get 70-80 thousand miles out of our tires. Very pleased with our purchases. What has happened to the quality of your tires?? It’s NOT because the proper maintenance has not been done (rotated/ balanced) at the dealership that I purchased my car AND my tires from on this particular vehicle. It seems that there is a common complaint....These tires are not getting the wear that you (Mechlin) say that they will or should get, which looks to be 65,000 miles.

I bought the premier ltx set about six weeks ago due to tire ratings and specifically the high comfort rating. I am very disappointed as the ride is harsh and every small crack in the road is felt and heard. The factory original tires which were replaced were better riding and they were worn out. I have bought Michelins for over 40 years and I really regret buying this set. Will likely be the last Michelins I buy.

Original equipment on 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Rotated at every oil change and alignment at 15,000. Gives a good ride (mostly highway). But come on-- totally worn out now. I am a conservative driver, never abused and no off road use. My tire dealer doesn't recommend these either - numerous complaints from customers about the same problem.

I recently purchased the MICHELIN Premier LTX tires 275/50/20 for my 2004 Double Cab Toyota Tundra at Discount Tire. They replaced a set of Bridgestone Tires - Dueler Alenza UNI-T BL which gave a bumpy ride, especially early in the mornings and felt as if I needed a balance check, which never seem to solve the problem - Never Again!! But the BEST tires for my Truck are the all New Premier LTX!!!!! What a great ride for a Truck - smooth and even, I'm highly impressed with the tire tread design, feels as if the tires are hugging the road. Seriously my truck feels and rides like it did when I first purchased it! Exceptional Tires!!!!!

Very satisfied when we got these tires. There were very smooth and quiet. They are less than 2 years old and on return from an 8300 Km trip to Texas and Florida, both rear tires were basically bald. Right is side worse. I have never seen rear tires outwear the fronts in any vehicle I have owned over the past 40 years. I am bitterly disappointed.

We have a 2020 Equinox with Michelin Premier LTX tires. The car has 16,700 miles on it. We are in our late 60’s. We don’t drive hard. I have kept the air pressure correct and rotated them faithfully. The 2rear tires are at 3/32 and the two fronts are at 3/32. That is terrible tire wear. The tread is even across and no uneven tire wear. We are very disappointed with these tires.
