No chain in the box fixture seems very flimsy. Box didn't look like the boxes at the Sam store. I had plans to buy 12 of these to put in a new shop building but after seeing the fixture and reading the reviews I'm kind of scared since so many people said they stopped working after a few months. Also had lots of problems with the warranty. Supposed to be good for 5 years. I Would buy them from the Sams store if they would replace them if they quit working.

I ordered six of the lights. They came in multiple shipments. Half of the boxes were torn open or damaged. I won't be installing them until spring. Iplugged all of them in to confirm that they worked. Sam's needs to do a better job with their shipping. FedEx has been horrible with the way that they handle packages.

I built this 30' by 50' with 12' ceiling attached garage shop some fifteen years ago. At the time I felt that T12 - 96" fluorescent bulbs was the way to go. And installed 18 two bulb fixtures with shades in this garage. Knowing that this type of bulbs would soon be history, I purchase 100 spare bulbs and 20 spare ballasts at the time. I was fitting out four other garages with a total of 50 plus fixtures all together. Needless to say today the cost would be prohibitive to consider using T12 fixtures. There are all kinds of choices for LED garage shop lighting. I chose the Honeywell because of their long time presence in marketing of products in the USA. Reading the reviews, mostly great. A number I found to be troubling. So I first installed six fixtures in my smallest garage six months ago. Leaving some on 24 X 7 days, others turning off and one regularly. I had no Problems yet today. I directly mounted them to the ceiling in two main rows 9" apart using provided cords and receptacles to nine switched ceiling receptacles that I installed in the ceiling. I did not use the supplies plastic anchors. Rather used the heavy duty plastic ones that screwed into my 5/8" thick drywall that are good for 75 pounds. I used a template to get the exact placement of the screws. After the first few installed I quickly learned how far put the screws in. Happy medium between able to get the over the two screws or being too loose.. One of the two drawbacks of the fixture. The second being is the unsightly cords left on the ceiling. I purchased 36 three prong plugs and will be cutting the cord to the exact length needed. Problem solved.. Of the 42 total fixtures that I installed, only one had an issue. One section of about 10 LED's in one fixture kept blinking on and off. But after leaving it on for six hours while I was installing the others, the problem stopped. To sum things up. I give the Honeywell LED shop lights FIVE stars! At the cost my old T12 bulbs I purchased the fixture and bulbs. That give me the same 100 Candle Power using a fraction of power. With a far longer life expectancy, as advertised than the T12's. Plus you don't need to worry about the ballasts... Two thumbs up to HoneyWell!

These lights work great, are very bright, and are easy to hang. The plug in adapter has changed from a previous model that makes them not work with my earlier model lights from last year. These newer ones will daisy chain to each other but will not plug into the adapter fitting on the earlier model, limiting the daisy chain capability if you mix with the older style. The older style has a 3 prong round male or female fitting where as the new ones use the standard electric plug. Otherwise, great lights.

This is the third light I purchased. They are easy to install and well made. The 5000 lumen's provide excellent visibility in my shop and shed.

I bought a new one, since the older one, maybe 1-2 years old died. I thought it would last 10 or more years. I was wrong.

This is our second purchase of this light fixture. Works great in our shop, attic and utility spaces.
