The family loves the croissants

We buy these croissants all the time and use them for a variety of things. We spray them with garlic herb butter we put Parmesan and garlic on them. We sprinkle shredded cheddar on them. We eat them plain.Everybody loves them. They're soft and flaky and buttery. You warm them up and they get so soft and they toast beautifully.

Fresh and delicious

Always fresh and perfectly baked. Delicious to eat by themselves, my kids love to put the more fresh jam on top. Also, after standing on the counter for a few days, they make really good sandwiches that can be reheated. We always purchase these at Sam’s Club.

Disappointed

Not the same as Sams has had in the past . There were not light , airy or buttery . They were dense in texture and had very little flavor .

New baker?

We have been buying these for years. Great value. Enjoy with cheese, sandwiches and salads. Noticed in the past few months that they are being baked differently and not as flaky as in the past. Very brown; brown on the bottom. These are croissant! A specialty! Not biscuits!

Check expiration dates. These weren't fresh.

Get fresh croissants. Sam's puts all the oldest baked goods at the front so they can sell inventory. I didn't see this and bought 5 packs that expired a day after I got them. Definitely not as fresh as I wanted. Flavor was fine, but slightly stale. Check the expiration dates! Sam's--get rid of any baked goods within 2 days of expiration or deeply discount and let members know they're not fresh.

Recipe change?

I believe the recipe is changed. And it is not for the better. The new recipe is doughy as oppose to being flaky and buttery.

Disgusted

Had a long dark hair baked into the croissant . Last time I bought them there was a piece of the plastic glove in the package . They are not watching the quality of the items going out .

New Bad Recipe

These have changed drastically. I used to love these little croissants as they were wonderfully flaky %26 buttery. The ones that I received were dense %26 similar to a bread roll. I ordered these from Instacart so did not see them in store. They look different. The dates were sad: Processed 04/13 %26 I received them on the 15. The original ones would not have lasted that long. This new horrible recipe has deterred members from buying. Will check back occasionally in store to see if it has reverted as I really really liked them. Past tense.

Bring back your quality croissants

These have been so delicious for so long- buttery, flaky. But went to Sam’s today and could not believe the change. The small size ones were now tiny. The big ones were really a weird circular shape. The bread had no flakiness, or croissant appearance. Half the large ones were borderline black from over cooking. Sam’s—really??? Change them back to the quality product you had before. These just looked dry, hard, no flakiness, not buttery. Raise the price instead of changing the product!
