The a/t version of the LTX truck tire provides a surprisingly smooth, comfortable pavement ride with excellent dry and wet pavement handling and braking performance. I did not notice a significant decrease in fuel mileage or ride comfort from my previous tires, the LTX m/s, as might be expected. The a/t doesn't provide as aggressive an off-road tread as some competitors, and provides an excellent compromise between on-road civility and off-road traction for those who occasionally take their truck onto pastures and slippery, muddy forest service roads. My 'E' rated version provides plenty of capacity for towing and load on a heavy duty pickup or SUV. A fine tire so far, which appears to justify the price premium for this quality truck tire.

I use these tires on and off the road . In the dirt ,grass , mud, and in the sand on the beach What is so great about them . I have not been stuck anywhere I have gone and on the the road they are great in the heavy rain when their is standing water on the road . Water is channel out from under the tire`s and they keep there traction .

Have a set of these on my 85 4runner and 2000 Tacoma 4x4. These tires stick to the road. No more hydroplaning at high speed in the rain in either of these light trucks. Well worth the higher price. Time to purchase a new set for the Tacoma. Disappointed that I have to go back to an inferior brand of tire because Michelin discontinued the 31x10.5x15 in their all-terrain line-up.

I had a set of these on my Ford F350 for 70,000 miles. Probably 30,000 miles pulling a fifth wheel trailer, loading the rear axle close to the maximum weight. These tires were smooth, quiet and reliable. They were 10ply tires on a 1 ton 4WD truck, so I can’t say they were a delight to drive on, but as smooth as the LTX A/S I put on the truck next. The tires kept their balance between rotations. Had one flat tire the whole time we owned them. They performed fine in the mud and snow we had them in. They pulled us and the trailer out of a dirt road campground on the north rim of the GC, when all others were stuck and barely out of their campgrounds. I will buy them again.

Whether driving on the sticky hot asphalt of a summers day , the slick icey roads of winter or just traveling off the beaten path for a exciting journey,I have confidence in my tires to keep my family safe and secure, knowing my tires are durable enough to handle what ever type of surface my family suv may encounter.

I have 27000 miles on a 2015 Lincoln MKC and today dealer informed me that tires barely passed inspection at 4/32. These tires are rated 55,000 and I'll be lucky to get another few thousand before winter comes. I have always balanced and rotated tires with every 5,000 mile oil change. I make sure pressure is at correct psi. I drive around town and not on highways so this is disappointing knowing how much tires are to replace when you're expecting more from the name Michelin.

I’ve had these tires on my F350 truck since new in 2019. I only use the Michelin AT2 in the summer. All my driving is on pavement and occasionally tow my 36 Ft RV. The Michelin AT2 grip the pavement extremely well on the roads in the interior of B.C. Best of all they offer a very smooth and quiet ride. I highly recommend these tires for any 1 Ton Truck. I just replaced my LTX A/T2 tires on my 2013 Ram Hemi..They had 56,000 miles all highway and distance driving with several months of our NY North Country winter driving too.. Always Michelins A/T for my trucks and I love them. The set I replaced still had plenty of tread, but because of the winter months coming and driving at times throught the Mountains I just wanted to have new tires. I think the reason my old tires are till good is the care I gave them--rotating on schedules and not off roading except a few dirt roads and watching my driving...They have never failed me pulling my horse trailer or in the winter snows or even on ice.

Bought these 7 years ago for my 2004 SIlverado HD. Great on snow, off-road and highway, although dry rot has forced me to replace them after seven years which started a couple of years ago. May be the Denver altitude and/or dry heat, disaapointed that I have to replace a tire that has over half its tread life left due to age.

I've had a set of the LTX A/T2s on my 4Runner for about 4 years now. Excellent tires that grip well offroad and run fairly smooth on the highway. I'm definitely not expecting the same long life like my last set of LTX M/S (99,900!!!), but they seem to be holding up fairly well right now at around 55,000 miles. My next purchase will likely be the M/S tires again, but only because I'm on paved roads so much more... Otherwise, these are great tires!
