Not really fresh. These were not soft at all but rather dry and had to throw them out after two days.

Perfect size for your sweet tooth. These are staples in our household. They have the right amount of candies, fresh and you don't have to have many to hit your sweet cravings. For store made, these are one of the best!

I'm addicted to these cookies they almost rock hard when I buy them but when I get them home I put one slice of bread in them and by morning they are so soft they melt in your mouth

Sam's bakery items are always fresh. I was donating to a fundraiser; received many compliments and, best of all, they look homemade! I am never disappointed by my purchases at Sam's.

TERRIBLE!!! We bought 2 for a gathering we were in charge of. We tasted them the first day we bought them and one was hard and tasteless and the other was eatable the first day only. Mind you there are several sugar addicts in the house and they would not even eat them …..if you are serving this to others… pass on them!!!

I don't know what the issue was with these cookies as I have purchased them before and they were ok. There were several days before the sell by date expired but these were rock hard. I don't know if they weren't sealed shut properly or what but this batch was terrible.

We were all looking forward to these cookies, because they are usually one of my family's favorite. However, I bit into one as soon as we got home, and it was rock hard. I couldn't believe it, so I tried a couple more, to the same end. The entire package was so hard I couldn't eat any of them. They were all tossed. That is so disappointing. They aren't cheap either. But mostly we just wanted our cookies.

We used to love these cookies. They used to be moist and perfect. Now they're ROCK HARD. I had these cookies delivered today for a school function this afternoon. I tried one, and it's super hard and crunchy!!! Ugh!!! I don't have time to do the bread trick because they're being eaten in a couple of hours. I'm so disappointed. My kids tried them too and said they were too hard and not great. And they love all cookies!! I won't be buying these again. Unless you want to chip a tooth, don't buy these!!!

So delicious! Soft and chewy!

The people I shared the cookies with liked them.
