It works fine but do not look at picture. It’s not even close. Barrel is only one color. Pictures are multiple colors that make it look like a wood barrel.

Sent the wrong color

I bought 2 of these last year and one this year. Love them but couldn’t get the same color as last year.

Even after filling the barrel full of water and draining it there are foaming chemicals in the stored water.

I will say that the item is as described, so that is good, however, it fills up fast. We had to make sure it is in a place where the overflow doesn't run down the foundation. I am excited to water plants with fresh rainwater!

Ugly but functional

Description says that it is linkable. The picture shows the linking system in the back. The one I received had no linking system. In the spot where it is supposed to be there are 2 solid protrusions of the same molded plastic the barrel is made of. No way, for water to come out and the black threaded piece in the picture which you attach a hose to is not there. Unusable except as a single barrel or the beginning of a linked system, which I already have.

JUST GOT IT TODAY 6-27-16 AND LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES VERY UNHAPPY WITH SAMS

So far, so good. Looks like it will do what we need it to.
