I love the brillance of these changing color in different sequence and the solid color chosen can be bright or dim.They are in my kitchen picture window i can leave them up all year round to match any season!

Great set of string lights. We love that you can choose a solid color (or white) but also have several options for random/flashing colors. We put them up for Christmas but will leave them on our patio all year. The cords are heavy duty and the bulbs are plastic but feel sturdy.

This purchase was a winner. I was able to line my small porch with the lights and it completely changed the ambiance. I love that you can have colors, various modes and actions, but I absolutely like the white/clear lights. It just gives you more outdoor time. Very affordable purchase.

Got tired of the neighbors being the cool ones with their outdoor lights so motivated myself to look for some for my own. These LED lights are not only nice but color changing with multiple dance/fade/twinkle type settings. When first installed (bought 2 sets) one set had 2 bulbs not working. SAMS was quick to send out a replacement, only thing was by day 2 they all worked. I suggest retightening the bulbs to ensure snugness. No problem sending the replacement back. The different colors do have a purpose, some more romantic, some scenic enhancing. Our son just loves the basic white which is the most illuminating. I ran these from the back porch to our humongous coastal redwood (freebie from the 1993 state fair) and back to the the other side of the house (V shape). In conclusion, we love them and look forward to the outside experiences once this 100 degree weather is done and over with.

I gave this a 4 star rating - for personal reasons - the lights are great! I had bout 3 strands for my back porch a few years ago and strung them on wire. 2 sets are still working! and I love them but need to replace the 3rd set. Bought them at Sam's originally so we went there and bought the new set. The reason for the 4 is we like the original sets better - all 3 strung together 1 remote is all that was needed to turn them all on at the same time. Now we need 2 but that is ok however the blubs are not the same and do not glow as pretty as the original. However they do plug in to the old sets just do not go on at the same time but do go on with the remote. Besides the glow not as bright and pretty the remote does not have the same features - original had a 2 hour and 4 hour timer - I used that all the time!, it had a feature where you could put in a color and all bulbs were that color then you could hit second color and every other bulb would be that color - as we cheer for teams we would display their team colors (i.e.. blue and white - Penn State), the other feature that I love the most was called Modes - each push of the button revealed a season or holiday - Fall was different colors of yellow and orange, St Patrick's day different shades of green, Patriotic holidays red, white, blue, Easter different shades of pastel colors and there were a few others. We still use those and match as best we can with the new set. I do not care for flashing lights and the features that are available go to fast for the most part - we love the lights being up and if all we ever had was the new set they would be great! But compared to our original set they fall short of what we are used to. If I was buying them new for the first time I would be very happy with them and recommend them to anyone. But if you are trying to match them up with another set you bought before be prepared to see some differences.

These work really well, look nice, look similar to 'cafe' lights, have LOTS of color and control options, and are priced reasonably. They 'remember' their last setting (even on a switched outlet) so you do not have to pull out the remote every time. Also, multiple strings will work off of one remote, so you do not need to have multiple remotes to change colors, fade, etc. DOWNSIDE (otherwise I would have given 5 stars) they do not work with Google/Alexa smart home equipment. I use an RF hub to gain some smart home capability, but it is limited. I would like to see smart home integration if the item already has remote control.

these are not very bright (except white) and sometimes there is a random color...example, I have them on red but there is one that is green. I may be returning

Purchased in early August but I got one bad bulb. I contacted the vendor asking for a replacement bulb and purchasing some spare bulbs. They don’t have any replacement bulbs! Today (9/17/20) I was told they should receive bulbs in 4 to 6 weeks. I have not found anyone else who sells replacement bulbs.

I have 3 strings of these lights. One of them will not stay off. Turns itself off and on whenever it wants. Emailed the company and so far, nothing.

This is the worst light string I have ever seen quality wise the plastic is so thin that an eggshell would it be an improvement do not purchase. It’s a waste your time and money can’t believe Sam’s would even sell this very very disappointing.
