If it worked it'd be a good value, but the finger print reader has worked maybe twice since I got it. I missed the return window or this would have gotten returned. There is a key, but defeats the entire idea of a biometric lock and quick access. I've reprogramed my finger several times, it doesn't help. Complete garbage.

I Reprogramed This Safe 3 Times, Changed the Batteries, AND Programed My Thumb And Forefinger 4 Times Each So That's 16 Scans Of Those 2 Fingers! It Read My Fingerprint 3 Or 4 Different Times,I Kept Checking, Then Next Day It Wouldn't Work AND Went Into And Stayed In Lockout Mode Permanently Until I Reprogramed It. Same Thing Every Time. UNRELIABLE!!!

Great safe for the price, i read reviews and saw Where people were having problems with finger print, but not the case here works great with one touch, also I replaced batteries with energizer and not the cheaper batteries it comes with, so far so good!

Impressed with this item. Fingerprint scan set up was smooth and it has opened flawlessly for the 2 weeks I've had it. Unsure what made some earlier reviews say Fingerprint scanning was finicky. Only thing I may have done different is toss included batteries in trash and use new, name brand batteries. Gave one to my neighbor as a gift, and his worked great also. This does exactly what I wanted… quick access to items I do not want guests/kids having access to. No, it is not fire rated and no it will not deter someone with a crowbar and/or sledgehammer for very long, and I understood all that when buying. But it is solid and secure for what is is… a quick access vault. Icing on the cake was that the sale price Sam's had on this was a fraction of what similar item was from any other seller.
