This trashcan was everything I wanted. Bought during covid to help with avoiding germs. Pedal broke less than 2 years. Now we have to lift the lid to throw anything away. Now that kids are back in school I came here looking for a new one and noticed others having the same issue with this trashcan and brand.

I love the trash can. But i bought the red and it is NOT red. It is more copper color. Like someone else wrote, like a burnt orange. I bought it to match other appliances and its not even close to red color, that is why 4 stars and not 5. Going to keep it, but a bit disappointed.

Make no mistake folks, this can is metallic ORANGE! I have no use for this color as my accessories are metallic RED. Now I'm going to be out shipping and handling as this will be returned not to mention it has a couple dings.i give 4 stars because other than the color description being wrong, the can is nice.

I bought this February 2024. It is the worst trash can I have ever owned. The top started to rust a couple months after we bought it. The bin holds smell even after the trash is thrown out. I've had previous plastic bins, and they never smelled this bad. It is extremely difficult to keep clean because of the design in the back. The lid doesn't have the ability to stay open. Just overall, a very poorly designed trash can.

I have now bought this trashcan two times. The first trashcan I bought lasted two years before the step to open the lid broke. I purchased it again thinking maybe I just bought a defected one for it to one last 2 years. The second one I bought lasted less than a year. The same thing happened I went to go step on the lever to open up the lid and it broke.

Box did not show signs of damage, but the top of can was pretty well dented and a small dent on edge of can. I would return and try another, but may have the same issue. It works, I really like the soft close lid and the bags fit in the can much more easily than my old can.

Love this trash can. Received a Red one for Christmas and it’s absolutely beautiful. I love it. It comes with a refresher that fits into the lid to keep the can smelling nice that you replace every 60 days. Also, the inside “liner” is removable for easy cleaning if needed. It fits a 13 gallon trash bag better than any trash can I’ve ever owned also!

We bought this trash can and really like the looks of it, but after some time we noticed that the foot petal wasn’t quite working right and over time it just got worse. Today I flipped the trash can over to see if I could figure out what the problem was. I discovered that the foot pedal was actually cracking along the pivot bar. I guess the pressure over time just made it start to crack. You would think that the foot petal would have been reinforced by a metal plate instead of just being plastic.

It does exactly what you want it to, opens when you step on it. When researching this trash can I saw a number of reviews stating their step pedal broke within 6 months and I have no idea how they managed that. It's a 1/4 inch metal bar, so long as youre not jumping on it like a trampoline it won't break. Simple design.

Ordered in red, disappointed it looks more orange. Noted a scratch on the lid but decided to keep it. Had I not recycled the box, I would return it. The first time used, soft closed fine. Every time after use, the soft close works so far down then drops making an annoying noise. It serves it's purpose.
