When I got this, one wheel was not rolling properly and thus the stool kept trying to fling me off. I had to replace all the wheels. However within 9 months one of the welds broke on a leg and rendered it useless and dangerous. I would not purchase again.

Height has a good range. Pneumatics dont absorb shock like an office chair when plopping down. The lever will raise the seat once with no weight on it, to adjust height. I wish the foot rest was or ring was out farther. I think it's decent. Reviewers are correct. Foam in seat is on the hard side. I was hoping they were being sensitive. I think better can found, but it's good. I did order two, and this is just my first impression. I bought them for a place to pop down in the garage. I'm slightly dissapointed in the comfort. But, I can modify this if it bothers me, and I have the time. It has wheels, and flat foot inserts included. You can choose to use wheels or flat feet inserts. It will lower it some if you opt to not use wheels. I'm on the fence recommending, since it could be more comfortable. I have a similar stool to this wasn't expensive and is more comfortable. I purchased these since they were taller, on the high side, and I'm not yet sure how high my workspace will be. I have several options.

It's a stool. It does exactly what you expect. It spins and comes with casters or flat feet to install. It's comfortable, adjusts well and supports reasonable sized hominids. No issue with durability or workmanship. It comes in a box, takes 5 minutes to assemble. Not much else you can ask for from a stool.

I just received this, and installed it.. fairly quickly, about 5 minutes work. No tools needed, which is a plus. Functionality wise, it's a stool, so I'm not sure how much I can say. Some people have complained that the pad is hard, but it's what I expect from a shop stool. It looks sturdy, and the chrome finish seems fine, though it has some rough spots. Nothing visible to the eye though. The pneumatic mechanism works okay based on my limited experience. The wheels are okay, and work well on both tile and rug, though they do have some problems with transitions between tiles and rug.I'd have liked some bigger wheels, but not that critical. I don't know how long they will last on rough, unfinished concrete, but I assume they will. The "backrest" or whatever it is, it's pretty useless. It's just an annoyance, forcing you to orient the chair correctly when sitting. I'm probably going to remove it. It came preassembled, and I'm too lazy to go grab a screwdriver. For now. Maybe some people use it as a handle to pull the chair, not sure, but I see no particular use for it.

This is a very sturdy stool. I find the bar on the back helpful to scooch myself into place. I have not had any problems with instability with the casters on. It is very helpful for me to do some things in the kitchen and not have to stand as I am disabled. I recommend it.

I would've given it 5 stars, but there were no instructions as to how to raise and lower. Easy enough to figure out, but as I started to pump it up it's hardly discernible that it is moving. I've been super impressed with all the Seville cabinets and workbenches after completing a garage remodel! Aside form this one, their instructions are 98% accurate, easy to understand, fit perfectly, and very good quality! As a retired Sr. Buyer for an intl. German company, I can truthfully say that their products have been a great value!

It's a nice chair, but awfully lightweight. Tends to roll away from you as you try to sit on it.

Love the Seville classic stool! Have two of them now, matching the rest of my Seville products. Only complaint about this product is the padding is a bit firm.
