There is always 50 bags in the box, but they will substitute more of one flavor and short you on the other flavors. This happens probably every other box we purchase. There also tends to be bags that were not closed properly by the machine or taped to the top when the box is closed.

Every time that I buy this product and they don’t put it in a brown box it comes open. I don’t know if the box is flimsy or the delivery man just helps himself but I’m missing 12 bags out of my 50. This isn’t the first time and I’ve reported it before.

The variety in this box has something for everyone. Good serving size. I’m disappointed in the quality. Upon opening the box and putting them in a cabinet, found a bag of Cheetos open so I trashed them. Tried 2 bags of Doritos and they are stale, opened 2 bags of plain chips, they aren’t as stale as the Doritos but they aren’t fresh. I hope the remainder are better quality.

I received my box of Frito-Lay Classic Mix Variety Pack (50 pk.) today October 20, 2023. I gave it three stars because of the time period. The time period expiration date for this product is to be used by December 19, 2023. I was hoping the expiration date would be at least 6 months forward.

The box of this product I bought recently was supposed to have 6 bags of Ruffles. It had only one. It did contain one more bag of Doritos than the box said it contained. This was short of 50 bags. From other reviews, it seems like an inaccurate count and shortage is common.
