I bought the original red light mask about 3 years ago and it recently broke, so I had to replace it (The wires at the cord disconnected multiple times. My husband opened it up and reconnected until it just kept coming apart.) So I upgraded to the new model. This one doesn’t fit my face well at all. It droops. I have a smaller head and face, I don’t know if this one was made for a man or someone with a really big chin/jaw area? I have a really hard time getting it to stay on. I can’t really walk around with it and just have to sit and tilt my head back to get it to stay on. I also have to put my heart in a bun, to give the strap something to catch. If you have a smaller face/head, stick with the original/cheaper model that doesn’t have a weird chin covering, it will fit your face so much better!

I received the Current Body LED red light mask, series 2, for a Christmas present as that was the only thing I really wanted. Unfortunately, it would charge for a couple of minutes, and the light would remain on to indicate a full charge. When I turned it on, nothing happened. I tried to charge it again and the light would blink for a couple of minutes and then remain solid white again. Still no lights came on when I turned on the mask. I also could not get the "tap card" they put in the box to bring anything up on my phone. I am waiting to hear back from someone with the company after emailing them about these issues. It's disappointing to have this happen after researching this product and for the price one pays.

Hello, I am disappointed to report that I found the red light therapy face, neck, and chest masks did the exact opposite of what I expected. I don’t know if there is an initial period of time in which your face dries out and looks worse, before the activation of the collagen level begins. If so, I did not read that anywhere. And honestly, I’m nervous to resume using RLT for fear of it further aging me. My Reddit research revealed that this experience is more common than I thought. I really don’t know how to proceed.

After using the device a few times, I saw a marked difference in my facial fat volume, but not what I would have expected: I began to see a reduction in my cheek volume and hollowing around my eyes. I also saw an overnight increase in age spots, fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin. I now have ongoing photosensitivity and barrier damage. The Current Body team was not helpful when I reached out for support and only offered to refund the item. It has been about 7 months since using this product, and my face is still not the same. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Not sure what to think. I was so excited to get this mask, it was highly recommended by several skin-influencers I follow. I've used it 5-6 days a week for 2 solid months and see now improvement in my fine lines or overall skin tone. Kinda disappointed.Also, I really dislike the fit. I have to use the top strap to keep it on place which is really awkward and I can't multitask.

I've only used this for 2 months, and not sure when to expect results, but so far I am not seeing a difference. I'd been using another red light and felt it worked much better and could tell very quickly. I specifically chose this one by Current Body based on lots of research and reviews. Hopefully I notice a difference soon.

I know this does take time. Doing it religiously 5 times a week and up'd my face products to work in conjuction with the mask. I took some pics to compare but honestly...got a bit depressed and deleted because it looks as if I'm aging. I'm upset but still hopeful

I have been using the LED mask for about 3 weeks with the Green tea product and have noticed improvement in my skin tone, texture and firmness. I have excema and the red light therapy significantly reduces redness and inflammation. I have a small face and this mask actually fits well and is light and comfortable.

The face and neck masks seem well made and I do notice an improvement in my skin; however, I do have a few improvements that would make using this product better. The face mask could be a little taller to accommodate those with high foreheads. The battery should quit charging when it's completely charged even though it's still plugged into an outlet; this would eliminate the need to set a timer to check the charging process so it doesn't charge longer than the recommended 4.5 hours to keep the battery from getting ruined. Lastly, there needs to be an audible beep when the masks batteries are getting low similar to an electronic toothbrush. Every time I'm wearing the masks and the batteries run out 2 minutes into my 10 minute session and I'm frustrated. I started documenting, on a calendar, when I charge them and how many days I have to use them before I need to begin staring at the battery waiting for it to flash. The battery is clipped on my pants, I can't see it flashing unless I'm directly staring at it.

I used this mask every day for a while and then changed every other day after I purchased on November 2025. I noticed my age spots were getting darker and it’s devastating for me because I was not expecting. I have live in AK over 30 years we haven’t seen sunshine much in winter and I didn’t know how red light therapy caused my face were getting darker while I was using it. Now I can’t use it and it is totally wasted my money to purchase it.
