Clean Dishes

I have an old, old dishwasher. I clean it out now and then, but I am anything but a clean freak. My dishes were "acceptable" except I would have to wipe down my silverware and glasses if I had company. Until I used Finish Powerball, I never knew a dishwasher could actually give you really clean dishes.

Terrible "Improved" formula

I purchased this in March 2022 since they changed from the original hard tablets to this new pod type. It is absolutely terrible. It would leave brown residue that you could easily remove with a paper towel and the silverware wouldn't always be clean. I could then wash the silverware off with just water and it would remove the food particles so I'm not sure why it's not cleaning properly. I have even tried using 3 pods but would still get the same results. I will be returning it and trying a new brand unfortunately.

For best results, the optimal temperature for your dishwasher water should be between 125-140 F (52 -60 C). Don’t waste your money

Living on social security in a time of inflation, I tried to save some money by buying finish instead of cascade. After all, they both do the same thing. Wrong!! After having to wash a load of “clean” dishes by hand first thing in the morning, I got online and ordered cascade. Never again! It’s not saving money when you have to use your time and energy redoing what it was supposed to do,

Does not dissolve and just becomes sticky mess

These pods often rupture while being put in the dispenser door and get sticky liquid on my hands. They do not fully dissolve in the wash and just become a sticky mess drip but do not clean dishes. Ran dishwasher 3 times with new pod after cleaning sticky mess and still did not dissolve. Not worth the money. Will not purchase again.

These pods leave a terrible film all over my dishes. Davin leaves "stripes" on my glasses. I need to use the "Finish" liquid with these pods which is ridiculous because they should have Finish in them. I can't wait until I use up all of these because I'm going back to my other dishwasher pods. i will never purchase these again.

Works Great; NO Problems!

The tablets work perfectly in my dishwasher; I've been using them for years and have had no problems with them. The dishes come out clean every time. If the tablets don't work well in your dishwasher, consider that it may be a problem with the dishwasher itself.

Overpowering smell

I have been using this for years, but I feel like something has changed. The smell is now so overpowering I can barely stand to have it in the house. And after running it in the dishwasher (on high temp wash and sanitizing rinse), my dishes have a terrible scent left on them- specifically anything plastic. I can taste it when drinking out of anything plastic as well. I will no longer be using this and looking for more natural alternatives. It's disappointing because I will say this has done a good job of cleaning dishes in the past.

Horrible change in this product

I've been buying Finish dishwashing tablets for 10+ years from Sam's Club. The original PowerBall, Ultimate Cleaning was SO MUCH better. They are the solid tablets (ones to the left in the picture). However, Sam's Club decided to switch to the "Quantum" three-compartment gel tablet, which is horrible. I had to throw a bunch of them out because the tablets stick together, and when I tried to separate them out, they oozed out all over the place. See the bottom one on the right, which is the only one I could salvage from the clump. I'm now in the market for a new dishwashing tablet.

Hi, Karen. Our Finish Quantum Tabs provide the ultimate clean, shine, and film protection. Its three separate fast-dissolving chambers deliver three power actions: break down and lift tough messes, grease-cutting power, and a finishing boost of shine. It is possible that moisture got into the bag, which could cause the tablets to stick together. We recommend not storing the package under the sink near the hot water pipe, and keeping the bag in a cool, dry environment. Finish does still offer the Powerball tabs you show in your image as well. Pillows don't drop out of the holder and sometimes leave a half disolved mess. I don't believe they clean any better than the Sams Club tablets. They still leave bits of gunk on the dishes. Don't believe everything you see and hear in the adds as you must preclean your dishes.
