I have tried many different dishwasher detergents but I always return to Finish! Was using since it long before name changed, was called Electrosol! And I depend on Finish “Jet Dry”! Both work great in hard water, treated, or Municipal water! I have moved but continue to use!!

On 8/31/2022, I purchased the Finish Quantum Powerball Dishwasher Detergent and I rue the day I bought them. The cups and glasses taste just like the soap, as do other dishes. After I'm through with these, I'll either stick with Finish Classic Powerball Tablets and/or Cascade!

Pods used to clean fine. The latest batches do not completely dissolve during the cycle. this started happening with the latest redesign of the pod. Typical company cost cutting to make more profit and screwing up a great product. Im going back to Cascade.

I'm not sure what happened to these, but the last batch I bought have been leaving a horrible taste on all our dishes. I used to LOVE this product because there was no scent or taste left behind on anything I put in the dishwasher unlike another popular brand. So last time these were on sale I stupidly bought two boxes and now I'm stuck working through them, they're out of the packaging so I can't try to return them. I will be looking for a different product after these are all used up which is really disappointing because they clean the dishes really well.

Finish changed the scent formula on this product. It now leaves all silicone products full of artificial scent flavor. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT if you enjoy the flavors of your food unscented by your dishwasher detergent. It is especially bad on silicone products (like silicone cooking/scraping spatulas), and will transfer flavor into items like hot eggs cooked in a fat, and when you like the spatula off after mixing something delicious. Delicious will be ruined by the overwhelming flavor of artificially scented detergent. If you feel like you need something in your dishwasher to overpower a bad smell, perhaps it's time to clean the food filter and peroxide any slime building up in the door hing seam.

Decided to try the gel pods. I used a few that worked well, but soon after had issues with white streaks and unclean dishes. Further inspection revealed partially dissolved tabs in the dishwasher. I normally use the Finish detergent tabs that are individually wrapped in foil, no plastic, but couldn't find any and went with these. Returned. I will go back to the detergent tabs.
