Semi thick bacon. Need to microwave to complete cooking

I'm a big fan of the Hormel fully cooked bacon and as member's mark usually puts out a good product, this falls short. First, it is very fatty. In fact, there were pools of hardened fat at the bottom of the package and at the ends of the strips. Second, the smokey flavor is almost too powerful, overwhelming the bacon flavor itself. I seriously doubt I will give this another try. Hopefully, they won't stop selling the Hormel to boost their sales of this inferior product.
