I was excited when I saw this product, as the slices were much larger than the Hormel Black Label we usually get from Sam's. Upon heating they are a bog larger, but not really thicker. But the major issue we had was the flavor. These are sold as natural smoke flavor added, but to use tasted artificial, exactly like bac-os actually. No thanks, going back to Hormel.
