I haven’t had a Hot Pocket in over a decade, so trying one again was a nostalgic experience. The taste and smell is still great (4/5) it has the same classic flavor and smells I remember from 10 years ago. That said, the filling is really minimal, and the cheese doesn’t ooze out like it used to. The crust is still good, but it’s not the indulgent, gooey experience I remembered. I accidentally overcooked mine in the microwave, but it still tasted decent. One thing I really miss is the iconic Hot Pocket sleeves. they made it so much easier to eat without burning your fingers. Eating it without the sleeve just doesn’t feel the same. Overall, I’d give it 3/5 for the experience. Nostalgia aside, the lack of filling and the missing sleeves make it feel different from the Hot Pocket I loved growing up.

They cook easily and quickly in the microwave. It can pop open just a bit along the seam when cooking. The filling is very hot when it comes out of the microwave. The seam of the crust can be a bit hard, but the rest of the crust is soft. There is a lot of pepperoni and you get the flavor of pizza. However, its not spicy hot but there is a lot of spice flavor.

It's a good size for a snack, and in between meals, its like the pizza crust so its perfect dough. It didn't have an aftertaste. My boys love this for a after school snack. Recommend by my family

The flavor is very similar to a pizza puff and I have to say they are better than I remember. My whole family is enjoying these, the only thing I am missing is the little crisper boxt they used to come with to make the outside crispy. Otherwise, good taste and very convenient!

One thing we noticed, they did away with the sleeve you used to cook them in, but they still crisped up well. Will continue to be a staple in our household!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There's a reason Hot Pockets have been around for so long! These Pepperoni Pizza Hot Pockets have the same cheesy, pepperoni-packed deliciousness wrapped in a tasty crust that I've known and loved for years. My kids and husband love it too!

The new hot pockets have no sleeves. This is an absolute tragedy the pockets are just glorified soggy sandwiches rather than the microwaveable handheld calzones they used to be. The alternative now is to air fry it and wait longer to eat it (which isn't the end of the world it's just less convenient for a debatably okayish calzone sandwich hybrid). I'm unsure if I will purchase the product again unless they can figure out hot to get them crispy again in this sad attempt to cost-cut or a move to switch to a new susceptor style
