a torn tire crack due to aging rubber. Small cracks that grow in length, depth by manufacturing defect.

I HAVE BOUGHT THESE 4 TIRES ABOUT 3 YEARS. ONE OF FOUR TIRES FLAT/EXPLORE ON THE ROAD.

SunnyDee, we're sorry to read of this incident. We recommend taking the tire and your vehicle to an authorized retailer, the selling dealer if possible, for an inspection of the tires. At that time, give us a call at 866-866-6605 8am-5pm EST Mon-Fri so that we can get the dealer's findings.

discusted, All Michelin tires have a Standard 6 year warranty covering workmanship and materials (provided you have the sales receipt). In addition, the Cross Climate2 tire has a 60,000 mile limited treadwear warranty. Not sure where the 1 year warranty comes from.
