I had been considering getting planters like this for my new deck, then saw these on sale. Great Price! But not that you will need to drill drain holes in the bottom and they are pretty light - since I put fake ferns in mine, I placed rocks in them to weigh them down a bit. But a 20+ mph wind still knocked one over!

Great planters that are extremely lightweight, sleek, adding lots of curb appealing as well as for around the pool. The planter portion only goes down about 1/2 way. Under that is a well with a plug which can be filled with sand or water to weigh it down. I love that feature because it helps keep them from tipping & can be emptied if you need to move.

I purchased this for my mother-in-law's plant (snake plant) and it looks amazing in it...but, I wasn't too happy when I found out that another store had it almost $15 cheaper.

I purchased these planters to replace old plastic wicker ones that had fallen apart due to sun rot. They are tall and very sturdy, and should last for many years. There is a plastic "shelf" about 10" down from the top, so you don't have to fill up the entire base with rock or dirt. My only minor complaint is they did not come with instructions on how to use the various watering techniques available. The bottoms come sealed with no drain holes so you can use these indoors. I am using them outdoors, so I drilled drainage holes at the 4 dimples on the bottom which marked the locations to drill. These planters can also be "self-watering," by drilling holes in other locations (but again, no instructions were included).

I couldn't be happier with this planter! The sleek, modern design fits perfectly with my outdoor decor and adds a stylish touch to my patio. It's sturdy, and well-made. I also love how easy it is to clean. Highly recommend for anyone looking to elevate their garden or entryway.

This tall planter looks great at my front porch area! It was easy to set up--I drilled the drain holes in the bottom, then added a layer of small rocks and soil (didn't try the self-watering). A big plus is it's easy to tend to the flowers because of the height. Highly recommend!

This planter is attractive and at a great price! However, instructions are unclear and functionality of the planter is questionable. It is not a deep planter as there is a bottom about a third of the way down from the top. There are no drain holes in the very bottom, so I'm not sure how water will drain. Water drains from the partition into the bottom. Instructions would have been helpful. I'm afraid water will just be left standing in the very bottom and possibly attract mosquitoes.

The planter itself is fine but I don’t understand how it is self watering. There are absolutely no instructions and does not include any accessories to make it work as self watering. The inside does not go to the bottom of the pot and it seems like there is a water reservoir at the bottom but no way for water to get to the plants. It also says to drill holes in the bottom if using outdoors 😵‍💫so how is it suppose to hold the water?? Very confused about its purpose.

I purchased two of the MM Tall Square Planters for both sides of my entry door. We absolutely loved them after we added potting soil and plants. The next day, we noticed that the soil was drying out and looked as if we never watered the plants. They only get morning sun. We've had the planters just a little over a month, and they are starting to warp. I assume this is from the water that is self-storing instead of self-watering. I would not recommend these at all.

These planters look nice. That’s about it. I have them on my front porch. Full sun. Two problems. The sun is fading the black. Second problem, they are supposed to be self watering. My plants aren’t getting enough water on top. My plants keep dying. I have to keep remembering to water them.
