Rotten to the Pit

I've eaten a lot of plums but never seen any that had no external damaged but when you bit into them they were spoiled. They were so bad you I couldn't eat around the damage so the remaining when into the garbage.

Better quality control needed for Plums

Disappointed with my recent Plum purchase. Almost every single plum was brown and not edible inside due to rotting even though they looked good on the outside.

Plums will not ripen.

Bought these several weeks ago. As yet they have failed to ripen sitting on the counter. Still hard. Don't know if they were picked too early. I read they should ripen in 3-4 days but not even close as yet.

Yuck

They were moldy and dripping with a brown goo, they were purchased in a pick up order. The plums we bought in an order before this one were perfectly fine.

A staple for charcuterie boards here

Nice plums, but I actually chipped my front teeth biting into these... those pits are ridiculously hard. Not Sam's Club's fault, but there has to be some industrial use for pits that hard. This time around we grabbed a bag of the dark purple ones... I still prefer the reddish varieties better for flavor and firmness.

Brown inside

They were all brown inside, like they were rotten but the outside looked okay, not a single one of them was different, the first time I bought this ones they were yellow inside, firm and sweet, the second time they weren't ripening, and this 3rd time was when they were disgusting, I don't think I'll be buying this again, and it's a shame because my son loves them

Crisp bite & sweet

The varieties vary sometimes white, red or black. Depending on season too. When they're super fresh and really firm, I usually wait a couple days before eating one to let it ripen a bit more. I prefer them with a crisp bite, sweet, juicy and a tangy peel

Plums were not as good as usual, very disappointin

I buy these plums from Sam's Club frequently and with this exception of this time the plums were always sweet and juicy. I am disappointed with the taste of the plums from my last purchase. Publix told me that Plums are out of season and their stores won't sell plums until next season. Maybe that's what happened with this last plum purchase.

Bad produce.

These plums were rotten when they were purchased by us. Whichever employee picked them out for us for our curbside pickup obviously did not check to see how old these were. Or possibly the produce person for your store does not go through the produce and remove the old/expired packages to assure freshness. I put them on my kitchen counter when I got home, did not remove the plums from the plastic bag they came in. A couple of hours later when I went back into the kitchen I noticed that there was a puddle of plum juice all over the area. The plums had broken open and made a huge mess on the counter. When I looked inside I could see and feel that the plums were wrinkled and the skin bursting with the rotten mess from inside the plum. I ended up getting a refund but it should never have been necessary. Someone should check the quality of the produce much more thoroughly before it is sold.
