A strange thing happened with these plums. The first bag I purchased had a sticker on the bag stating they were plumagranets(cross between plum and pomegranate and they were awesome! Rave reviews from everyone who tried them. So juicy you had to eat them over the sink! The next week I went to get another bag and they had a different sticker on the very same bag stating they were “western” variety plums and they were kind of ho-hum and not juicy at all. That is how the 4 star rating came about

For my first time trying these to my surprise they were actually sweet with a crisp bite when bitten reminded me of down on the farm. But I really enjoyed the fresh White peaches they had this summer so much I brought 3 cases and made pies,cobblers,smoothies and brandy Yummy 😋

I've purchased plums at Sam's before. When I am in the store and choose the package, it works out fine. However this is the second time I've ordered for curbside pickup. The first time, the plums were too ripe but usable. This time, the plums we not only overly ripe, they were badly bruised and a few were visually starting to rot. I will not order these for pick up again.

Disappointing quality, waste of our time to buy produce from Sam’s. Plumbs are still very hard from outside even after 8 days of waiting. Rotten from inside. Finally we had to throw plums and also peaches we bought on the same dates. Same story on peaches. Sorry.

Good value for price. I rated the plums as a 2 because most of them were bruised and had fingernail like indentations and cuts. Most of the bags on display were opened by customers and customers were observed sampling the fruit without purchasing any.

These plums are advertised as being from California, but they are from Chile. Very disappointing. Not just that, they are also bruised and some are really bumpy. They have no flavor and are not fit to eat. They're also “black kat.” I was expecting normal plums as pictured
