The pack offers a colorful mix of flavors like Tropical Punch, Grape, and Cherry, promising a fun experience for both kids and parents. However, my overall experience was somewhat mixed. First, the packaging could be more user-friendly. The “easy-open” tab on the box didn’t work well if it was even slightly dented. I ended up having to open it from the side instead. Regarding taste, these drinks are extremely sweet. Although they’re marketed as having 75% less sugar, they still taste way too sugary for my preference. It’s not something I’d want my child to have every day, even with the added vitamin C, which is a nice touch. The high level of sweetness overshadows that health benefit. On the positive side, I love the vibrant colors and fun design of the pouches. They’re eye-catching and perfect for parties, summer picnics, or Halloween celebrations. The pouches are also thoughtfully designed for small hands, making them easy for kids to hold, sip directly from, or pour into a cup without making a mess. Overall, I think they’re fun and refreshing as an occasional treat, but I wouldn’t rely on them as a daily drink for my family.

The pouches feel safe and sturdy, don’t leak in his lunchbox, and the straws are individually wrapped, which I appreciate for hygiene. They’re easy to store, grab, and go, and I’ll sometimes freeze them so they keep his lunch cool too. My son really enjoys the taste of all three flavors, especially tropical punch. They smell lightly fruity without being overpowering, and for the price, the variety and convenience make them a great value for everyday use.

However, they don’t taste the greatest, but they are not bad. Out of the three flavors we received, I think grape was the least favorite, and cherry was the favorite fruit punch was the second favorite. They are supposedly we have a sugar alternative, which makes it less calories now. Some of their website data says it’s 75% less sugar in the most sodas and some of it says 55% less sugar than the most sodas. I don’t really like when a company can’t be on the same page as itself. It comes across a super shady and untrustworthy. But, it is Kool-Aid. So you kind of know what you’re getting into when you buy it or drink it. It’s literally just sugar water. So don’t be mistaken, it is 0% juice. If you look on the manufacturers website, it’s oddly listed under a soft drink. Clearly it isn’t a soft drink, but I just think that’s weird. I like the nostalgia of the old packets were you to stop the top but it’s definitely more environmentally friendly this way even though they’re still not environmentally friendly. Long story, short, has nothing really changed my opinion about this except for me to researching it on the company’s website. The taste is about the same and it is widely available and kid friendly, which I appreciate.

The mix is still brightly colored if you were to pour it in a glass. It has less sugar than a soda so if you want to feel like you are making a better choice on a sugary drink this is definitely for you.

Some varieties offer added Vitamin C. However; you do have to be mindful that they contain sugar and dyes like Red40.
