The two cans arrived so badly dented along the edge of can seal that they were totally unusable as they could have had air leaks. They looked like they were smashed hard against something like a metal rod or wrench. Deep dents/gashes, in 3 places, on both ends. Hard to think it was an accident, but I dont know what happened before they got to me. I do know that someone didnt care what they put in that box...

I needed a batch of beans for 50 people. The first can I purchased was another store's in-house brand and realized I needed more beans and purchased this can from Sam's Club. When opening the two brands, the amount of water I needed to pour off the other brand was almost two cups of liquid vs. only a tablespoon from the Bush's can. The Bush's can also cost a few pennies less than the other store's for the same size can.

The beans itself were good, but the delivery process was not so good. The cans came bent and in bad shape. It was very difficult for me to open them when that happens botulism can occur. I don't want to make any of my clients sick. I think it should be a better process for shipping. Next time I will pick them up at the store.

We had to have these shipped. A couple cans were damaged but not beyond usage. It's Bush's and you either like them or don't like baked beans. We of course doctored them up because that's what we do. Used this to make a large batch for a church activity. Easier to use this one large can than open up a bunch of smaller ones.

I don't just serve them straight out of the can, but these are a great base to add your own seasonings. I use an ATK recipe that calls for various types of beans and just use this one can for the whole recipe. It works great and tasted wonderful. Even without a lot of extra effort these are pretty tasty.

The can came dented. I had little box of eye drops in the same shipment, along with deodorant and they were perfectly intact. The box was packed well. So the giant dent did not happen in shipping. Someone thought it was ok to give me a severely dented can. I don’t like botulism with my beans. The pics don’t show the dent well due the sheen of the label.

We keep these on hand whenever we need to feed a threshers group and make some of the best smoke burger beans you've ever tasted. Sam says an excellent price on these. Do not keep these for long term but do like keeping two or three cans on hand and they are shelf stable for over two years.

Several years ago I tried several varieties of baked beans and determined that Bush's "with Onions" flavor was best. I have discovered that now - probably 20 years later - I like the taste of the regular flavor Bush's better than the "with Onions" flavor. This price is great, and shipped free! When I open a can, I store most of the contents in plastic containers in the fridge, using only what I need at the current time. The beans last several days in the fridge - well over a week, without any apparent loss in taste. Ordering this large can ends up being much cheaper than the "individual" size cans.

I am not a fan of Bush's Baked Beans. I was looking for a large can of pork and beans to make baked beans out of, but Sam's didn't carry large cans. Normally I would have used navy beans instead but since I was short on time and I was feeding a crowd for free, I decided to go with this. After doctoring it up with some mustard and brown sugar, it wasn't bad. I will not buy this again
