The description of this Item was "Zinus Night Therapy 12" Green Tea Zest w/Smartbase Set, Size: King" However, no Smartbase was received and thus this item was not a "Set". That was a disappointment. However, the actual Zinus mattress has proven to be a complete delight and surprise. It came packaged, as all memory foam mattresses, tightly compressed and rolled inside a large box. It was left in the box for about 5 days before being unrolled and although the packaging indicated that it would take 24-48 hours to reach its full thickness, it probably reached 11 1/2" within a few hours. Now, after a few weeks, it has reached its full 12" height on all areas of the mattress except a slight dip in two corners that isn't really a concern. The mattress is surprisingly firm and I love it for that reason. Some people who prefer a softer sleep surface may find the mattress too firm. This mattress replaces a pillow-top mattress that, after only about 3 years was dipping on each side. I'm hopeful this Zinus mattress holds its firmness and shape over time!

Finally able to get rid of our old Pillow top and so glad we could- this mattress is firm so we don’t sink in but also comfortable enough that I don’t feel pain especially at my hips and shoulders. It is a great quality that looks like it will hold up well especially as my husband and I are toss and turners. Also love the green tea infusion upon opening like other times we opened memory foam mattresses - we did not feel assaulted by smell after opening to air out - it was very pleasant and not strong at all. Would buy this mattress for our other rooms hands down

I really like the firmness and comfort of this mattress. We kept the box spring from our old regular mattress set and placed this on top of it. The con is that it moves when you touch it. I bought some wide double stick tape to place on the top of the box spring to hold the mattress in place. Have not had the chance to put it on yet so not sure if it works but keep this in mind when buying.

The mattress was dumped , in the box, on my porch unannounced. The mattress had to be pried open, did not unroll and instantly expand. After a week plus it has expanded to 8-10 inches thick, not 12 and the corners are still deformed. I emailed Zinus who promptly referred me to Sam's Club online who quickly refunded my purchase. I upgraded to a Zinus 14 inch mattress, still waiting for it to be delivered.

The mattress rises to about 10 inches in the middle, but the corners stay partly compressed with obvious separation between the foam layers. It looks nothing like the square cornered, tall mattress in the picture. This is after over a week, not just initially. Having smaller, sloping corners is a detriment to its appearance and usability. The middle is comfortable to sleep on. Just wish it was as represented.

I wish that this would have worked out, but it just didn’t! The packaging was awesome, the bed it self seemed like great quality but the top layer of foam just didn’t spread out to the edges of the bed. We thought we would take the cover off and see if there was anything we could do to help, but oddly enough the cover doesn’t come off! It has a zipper, but you cannot unzip it- I just don’t understand what the deal is with that. We took it back to Sam’s and they gave us a full refund and we went with a traditional mattress.

Received mattress two days early which was ok but sometimes that may not be the case as it could interrupt your schedule. Unpacked the mattress and let it sit for 48 hours. No smell of foam what so ever. Mattress is firm but conforms to your body. I had no trouble sleeping on my side or back. No stiffness in my shoulders in the morning which I had with our pillow top mattress we replaced.

I have never slept on a bed like this before but my husband had and he assured me that it would be good. I don't know how to explain this other then it's soft and firm at the same time. For me it took about a week to get used to the bed. Now it's pretty comfortable.

This is the 3rd Night Therapy my husband and I have purchased now. Best sleep ever. It is soft but firm support. Both of us used to wake with back aches on the old mattress, never again since the night therapy ones. Can't stand the soft mattresses that you sink into and wake with a hurting back. This is soft as you climb in bed, but comfortably supports the body firmly but not hard. I reccomend these mattresses, especially if you have back aches.

Alright folks, so I have the Cal King Zinus Night Therapy Green Tea memory foam mattress. This is the first memory foam mattress I have ever had and have been sleeping on it for 2 weeks now. This mattress was easy to set up came in a box roughly 4 ft tall and weighing close to 100 pounds. My wife and I unrolled it right onto our box springs and removed the plastic. Within seconds the mattress came alive forming into its full form within 2 min. Now the instructions state that it takes from 24 to 72 hours to fully form (we only waited about 14 hours and it was fine). A slight odor but nothing that wasn't what was stated from the instructions. Now the important part, sleep. This memory foam mattress seems really firm. My 6 year old was pretty upset he couldnt get the spring from bouncing on it like the old mattress haha. So I am a belly sleeper and so is my wife. I slept great! My wife even enjoys sleeping on her back now which she said shes never been able to do. I am giving it a 4 star just because it is, in my opinion, a more firm mattress and thats not really how I read or expected it would be. But other then that after 112 hours of sleep I do wake up refreshed and ready for my day. Though in the last couple nights I did wake up with a little neck pain, but that could be from the way I was positioned. I would recommend this product if you are looking for a cheaper option for a mattress at the Cal King price of 450, Its very economy friendly.
