I am happy to say that these tires have been incredible in every way! I used to roll on CT Extreme Contact tires for years and I am now very happy to have switched. The traction is awesome both on road and off road. The performance in the rain has also given me a greater confidence that my SUV won’t spin out. I recommend this tire to everyone who enjoys both on road and off road driving.

First of all, I've owned way more cars than any American should. Like in the upper 80s of personal vehicles in my 30 years of driving. You could say I have a problem. However, I consider it experience. I've driven on pretty much all makes of tire manufacturers across a variety of cars, trucks, SUVs and yep, even mini-vans. I live in southern WI, so we get everything from 110 degree heat to -40 cold including ice, deep snow and sluch, and heavy rains. Long story much shorter, I have yet to find a time in daily driving across highways, city towns, and back roads, where the Michelin CrossClimate 2s have not wildly esceeded my expectations. They take average cars and make them perform the unbelievable. Torrential downpour? Bring an umbrella to get to your car because you don't need help once you get there. 22" of snow? Grab a cup of coffee, because if you want to, you don't need to call into work and stay home. Highway driving and in town driving, experience better stopping, stability, ride quality AND tread life. This tire essentially gives 100% of all season performance, with 95% of a dedicated winter performance tire. There is a reason why I purposefully change to CrossClimate2 tires when I change cars. The only thing I wouldn't use these for is off roading or drifting. They look like they'd have a really loud tire howl but they don't. I've had cars I've put 40,000 miles on that are still over 70% of tread life with these. Stop reading this review and buy them, already! You will not be disappointed, other than wishing you had done it sooner. Not a car person, that's okay. Just a friendly heads up, you'll find yourself telling others who notice them and ask that they should buy them too!

I have been very pleased with the CrossClimate2 tires, the 4th set I have purchased. They have served well as a winter tire in the north Georgia mountains, effective in the rain, and good driving characteristics in all conditions. The tread is on a trend pattern to exceed the warranty. I am pleased with the safety and stopping features. My only complaint would be the price, but I also got a rebate from both the retailer and the manufacturer to ameliorate that. So no comkplaints from a happy customer.

Tires were just mounted on 6/17/26. Somewhat early to talk about wear but I notice a big difference in handling and ride already. Specs are highly rated and Michelin reputation speaks for itself. I have used them on other vehicles in the past all the way back to the mid '70s when radials were just coming into their own.

Great tires , no issues what's so ever . Considering the cost to change summer to winter / winter back to summer, these represent a great saving. 3 years Roadside Assistance on Top of Great Tires. Michelin - Top Quality World Wide . I don't know why these tires are measured at a rating of 10 rather 11 ?

Great tire! Our granddaughter has the vehicle now. But I miss the original Defender. They were a great tire. Although I think the CrossClimate 2 may be a great tire, it simply cannot replace the original defender for longevity. But we loved them and I will soon replace the OEM Pirelli tires on our replacement vehicle with the CC2!

Just completed a 3,500 mile round trip on these tires. Had every type of weather with the exception of snow and they did great. Even when my GPS sent me down a road i had no business being on and had very large amounts of mud. Rain was very heavy the entire trip and never once did they lose traction and breaking was very good on wet roads. I definitely recommend these tires.

I purchased the Crossclimate 2 tires 6 years ago. They perform as advertised. (Great on dry, wet and snow but only slightly better than an all-season tire on ice) Fuel economy has been has better than the Bridgestone Ecopia they replaced. The only reason these tires got a 4 rating is because when it came time to replace them, they were always out of stock. I pushed through another prairie winter at the wear bars… I know… not smart. They still got me through without incident. (141 000 kms) I finally decided to switch to Pirelli. Hopefully, Michelin decides to bring in the Crossclimate 3 before I need purchase my next set.

Just had them installed on BMW X5. Hate them. The normally quiet cabin hums and vibrates because of these new tires. I should have put new versions of the Pirell Scorpions on. Was hoping to take advantage of the added traction in snow, but will replace these tomorrow. It is intolerable!
